Amazing hotel! We spent one night here and the place was spotless. The rooms were decorated beautifully, the staff friendly and helpful. Parking was free and the nightly rate was a bargain for this first class hotel.

We stayed two nights at the Chateau Saint John after late afternoon flight to Bangor and a 3.5 hour car trip. The hotel is sparking new and well maintained. The staff was helpful and professional. Our room was on the second floor (211). It was roomy and quiet. Our window faced a concrete retaining wall approximately 30 ft. from the back of the building. Request a higher level room in the front of the building if you want a view. Be aware that the front rooms face a busy freeway and there may be noise. Parking is adequate and "free". Heated indoor parking is available for a fee.

Don't miss breakfast. It is outstanding with a terrific variety of fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea, cereals, pastries, eggs, sausage, etc. Oh... and don't forget to try the pancake machine. Press the button and wait about 30 seconds for a hot freshly baked pancake. Push it twice and get two, etc. Enjoy!

Room Tip: Check AARP and AAA for discounts.

I spent one night at this hotel as I was touring around NB. It was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. I will definitely stay again while in Saint John as the cost to quality ratio cannot be beat. The location may be the only thing lacking but that is a very minor issue.

Room Tip: My wireless internet connection was not always strong.

We had planned to stay at the Delta, but we had a travel change. This hotel is 3 years old but seems new. Free parking and a $60 lower rate helped. We walked into the downtown square in 10 minutes-- 5 blocks. I should mention--Wonderful staff and a great breakfast.
We had easy access to the reversing falls (overrated) and the highway.

Room Tip: Ask for a city view.

I stayed at this hotel back in May. We were going to see Cirque Du Soleil. Harbour station was right across the street. The room was so big and so clean. The front desk staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. The Continental breakfast was giant. Everything you can imagine. Felt like being in a restaurant. The public washrooms off of the Front desk were immaculate. I have never seen such a clean bathroom. Everything about this hotel just blew my mind. There is no pool, but it didnt matter. I think this should be a 5 star. the room was only 100$ for the night. I have stayed at the Hyatt in Phlly which was a 4 star and this hotel was even better. If you ever have the chance to stay here please do. You will not be dissapointed.

Room Tip: No Tip needed. I got a room with 2 beds so I could have more room, and there was even extra room. I...

How can a hotel without a restaurant or a pool get such rave reviews? Here's what it takes: quality--doing the best with whatever you do. High-quality furnishings and fixtures, plus a sense of space. Even the bath had plenty of room without being so big that it felt cold. Countertops and tabletops were quartz or something like it. The hall doors had moldings and felt like thick wooden doors from the past in a new building. Door locks used the newest touch technology and for me worked flawlessly. Bath and light fixtures all quality and working. The same with the fitness room: high end machines, properly maintained, nice set of weights and a stability ball. Roomy enough to do other exercises. Wireless worked fine for me, never dropped and fast enough. Breakfast/bar room was bright, with a nice variety on offer, and the attendants really cared about their jobs. All the employees I encountered acted as if guests were the reason they were there, rather than an interruption.

Recently stayed there for 5 nights while my father was having heart surgery. Everything about this hotel is first class. The rooms are very modern with large queen size beds that have great pillows and very comfy bedding. All rooms have a 40" plasma screen mounted on the wall which is a nice touch. Free Wi-Fi in the room which was also quite nice. The bathroom is very well appointed with nice shower curtains that hang right down to the bottom of the floor. A hot breakfast is offered which includes bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast and many different kinds od cereal, pastries, bagels, juice etc...It's a breakfast that would easily cost you $10 if you went to a restaurant. The service at the front desk was top notch. After returning one night after long day at the hospital, I asked about a good place to get pizza, the gal at the front desk proceeded to produce about 6 or 7 different menus from local pizza joints which made ordering a whole lot easier.

I ended up switching hotels over the weekend as my wife and kids came down and they wanted a pool to play in. What a mistake, lousy room, no breakfast included, more expensive too boot- all for a pool!!

Great stay and I will most certainly return. Another very nice perk is this hotel offers a discount if you are staying as a result of a hospital visit. That's just the icing on the cake
