Great Hotel. Friendly staff. Very nice room, quiet, clean. Bed is super comfortable. Third time staying at this hotel and will definitely stay again. Easy access to "Market Square". No need to walk outside. Great location.

My seventh floor room had two large windows overlooking the harbour--very pretty view indeed. It was quiet and comfortable. The in-room fridge was a welcome addition, but a bit "tippy" when the door was opened as the effort to pull the door also dislodged the fridge. The bathroom contained very nice amenities; however, the tap in the tub dripped constantly and there was a nasty discoloured spot on the tub as a result.

Very good breakfast buffet in the morning!!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor and harbourview; stay for breakfast.

I stayed here five years ago and was quite hesitant about coming again, but I am glad that I did. The hotel has been nicely renovated and now meets the standards expected of a Hilton property.

Check in was prompt and friendly.

The rooms are done up nicely, comfortable bed, triple sheeting, tonnes of different pillows. Everything was very clean.

Breakfast was great, the staff were very helpful and the quality was good.

This was my third stay at this hotel, over about 10 years. It has been consistently satisfactory.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, and better lit than average (moderately priced hotels seem to skimp excessively on lights for some reason). The location of the hotel is ideal if you are visiting the city centre, and it has good parking (at extra cost) and access to the museum and some restaurants without having to venture outside. The included breakfast buffet is not spectacular, but adequate. (Though I would expect a Hilton in New Brunswick to serve real maple syrup with its pancakes!).

The bed was extremely comfortable, with good quality linens, duvet, and lots of pillows. Got a good night's sleep.

WiFi is surprisingly not included in the room charge, though the front desk gave me complimentary access when I asked. I can't compare this to other Saint John hotels, but still haven't seen a good reason to try others, when this one serves well, at a reasonable price and in a good location.

There isn't a lot of options for hotels in Saint John. So when booking I tried to stay at one that was in a convenient location for my needs. And the Hilton Saint John was it. The hotel appears to be an older property. It was clean and comfortable for my stay. One evelator was out of service which was really inconvenient when trying to check out as the wait was long and the elevator was packed stopping on every floor to the lobby. At check in, my keys did not work for my room. I picked up the red guest services phone by the elevator hoping to have someone come to assist me but no one answered. Instead I had to wait for the one elevator that was working, and go back down to the lobby from the 8th floor with my luggage to have it reprogrammed. I ordered room service which was delivered in about 30 minutes. The burger was very overcooked and dry. The fries that came with it were good. The room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Unless no other options come up for lodging in Saint John, I would stay here again.

We stayed for a night, and had booked the hotel based on it's star rating and the fact that we've previously had good experiences at Hilton hotels. However, there were many things that detracted from our stay and the overall value. Parking was an issue. It is self parking at a lot across the street for twenty dollars a day. No valet parking available, strange for this kind of hotel. Wi-Fi access is not included and is approximately 13 dollars per day. Free Wi-Fi was supposedly available in the lobby but the signal was so weak I was not able to connect. The heating/cooling system was extremely noisy in our room. Room was ok, but there was a hairpin on the floor when we first got to the room, and a few other things that made it seem less than clean. Nothing major but when you're paying more for a room it makes you wonder why bother. There always seemed to be someone smoking right outside the entrance, which was not great to walk through. The restaurant on site was ok, staff were friendly, but the prices were a little silly. $12.95 for a continental breakfast?

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the water.

Your comments on the charges for breakfast and wi-fi are well taken and we will endeavour to highlight the availability of packages which include these services. Regarding the parking fees, unfortunately we do not own the underground parking lot adjacent to the hotel so are unable to offer this service on a complimentray basis. Your comment on smoking outside the building is valid and we will post additional signage advising patrons of the correct location, further from the main entrance. The presence of a hairpin is preventable and we apologise sincerely for this oversight on the part of our housekeeper. Despite these disappointments, we hope to be able to welcome you again and experience our hotel as we would wish all our guests to experience it. Kind regards..Dermot

Just spent a night at the Hilton, Saint John. Love how you can go through pedways to Market Square and all the way to Harbour Station without having to go outside. Check in and check out were very quick. Downsides of staying here: not having breakfast included and having to pay $15-20/day for parking. Also I saw where a mini fridge was recently removed from my room, ie. dust where it recently was, however when I phoned down I was told that there were no fridges available at that time. Only two, small, slow elevators.

The upsides were the pedways, quiet rooms, comfortable beds and pillows and big, fluffy towels. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful also.

I would stay here again if I had business in the area.

We would very much like to offer the option of complimentary parking, however are unable to do so as we do not own the underground parking lot adjacent to the hotel. We do however offer packages inclusive of breakfast and internet, which are proving popular with business and leisure travellers.
