“Great piece of history.”
Reviewed 27 August 2014 via mobile

The trip to the hill was excellent. I had been once before but didn't have enough time to properly explore. This visit I lost track of time and spent about 2 hours.

The signage describing historical events was informative. Some signage could have been replaced due to weather damage.

The views from Signal Hill were amazing.

The best part of Signal Hill was that it was totally free.

“Great view”
Reviewed 26 August 2014 via mobile

Short trip up the hill and the view is incredible. The story of the structure is neat as well. It gets very windy up there and in the winter time can almost be unbearable. Check it out

“Nice quick history bite”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

This is a great site to get a quick glimpse of the history of the area while enjoying incredible views of the Atlantic, St. John's and the oft guarded narrows. Of course it was foggy and drizzly. Bring a good rain coat and umbrella and a warm sweater. Ask for the guided tour with Kelsey if she is working.

“Must-see”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

We didn't leave anything like enough time to see this place properly, I'm sorry to say. It's a popular place with locals and tourists alike, for an energizing hike, walking the dog, or just taking in the wider view of the city.

“We'll worth the walk, and definitely worth the bus trip”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

We walked to the tower via the harbor walk - this was excellent and we made it with a 3 year old child who walked 80% of the way. We visited the tower - which has a great historical importance and also great views! We took the bus back in to town, which was good value. Although note you need to have the exact change!
