Stunning view of St. John's and harbour and the view up and down the coast in the other direction. Very windy up top.

The trip to the hill was excellent. I had been once before but didn't have enough time to properly explore. This visit I lost track of time and spent about 2 hours.

The signage describing historical events was informative. Some signage could have been replaced due to weather damage.

The views from Signal Hill were amazing.

The best part of Signal Hill was that it was totally free.

Short trip up the hill and the view is incredible. The story of the structure is neat as well. It gets very windy up there and in the winter time can almost be unbearable. Check it out

This is a great site to get a quick glimpse of the history of the area while enjoying incredible views of the Atlantic, St. John's and the oft guarded narrows. Of course it was foggy and drizzly. Bring a good rain coat and umbrella and a warm sweater. Ask for the guided tour with Kelsey if she is working.

We didn't leave anything like enough time to see this place properly, I'm sorry to say. It's a popular place with locals and tourists alike, for an energizing hike, walking the dog, or just taking in the wider view of the city.
