“Cape Spear Lighthouse St. John's NL”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

Great trip up the coast to Cape Spear. Lots of scenic views on the road. The hikes to the point and up the lighthouse are quite long for us flatlander s. Again the views are worth the effort. A must see/do in St. John's. Highly recommend.

“Go there in June”
Reviewed 21 February 2014

It's nice we went during winter time and it was very calm and cold. Nothing is opened during winter so not possible to drink something.

“A Must to visit!”
Reviewed 17 February 2014

Another place to visit with your out of town guests! Unfortunately, the tunnels were under lock and key, but that did not dampen our day! The view here is second to none! :)

“Quite the Hike”
Reviewed 14 February 2014

A great place to get out of the car and walk; lots to see. Lots of history and WWII structures still intact. Light houses make for great photo ops. Careful with the wind; walking on edges of cliffs with wind gusts can send you flying. Worth the visit.

“Definitely worth the short drive from town”
Reviewed 13 February 2014

Went in the middle of winter, on a cold and very, very windy day. Even though I didn't get to see the sunrise due to the clouds it was still a great experience. Beautiful cliffs, rough seas hammering the shoreline and there is something very humbling and neat about standing at the most Eastern part of North America!

It would be phenomenal in better weather and very cool to be the first person to see the sunrise in N.A. on the day you go and visit. Make sure to bring some extra layers and hold on to the railing when you are there on a windy day.
