“Solid Evening Choice with Decent Beer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2014

We had one dinner at the Black Knight Pub and I have no complaints. The place was quite busy on a Thursday night, but the wait staff was still quick and attentive. The beer selection isn't massive, but the Guiness and Kilkenny I had on tap were both good. The food was fairly standard pub selection, including currys, burgers and the like. I had the bison burger, but would likely have been just as happy with the cheaper beef version.

terrific draught beer selection, good food and an authentic atmosphere in an otherwise restaurant challenged town.

“Very neat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2014

I was so impressed with this pub! I walked in as a solo woman (in my 30s) after work on a weekday and I didn't leave for hours. I saw some locals come and go, people holding work meetings, friends hooking up for birthday celebrations and everything else.

The wait staff were amazingly friendly and they wanted to keep the customers happy. I had to try the wings since it was wing night and I was impressed. Very yummy wings to go with ice cold draft beer and awesome selections. The menu was filled with traditional and contemporary pub food and the bar was fully-stocked with everything. The appetizer ribs were great!

Good beer, good food, and a good crowd made this the highlight of my trip to Yellowknife.

Nice atmosphere, but a bit too loud by neighbouring tables. The menu was minimal, not much to choose from.

“"Possibly the most underrated restaurant in Yellowknife"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 February 2014

When I googled "restaurants yellowknife" I was looking for places like the Black Knight Pub to come up first. Sadly it didn't. Nonetheless we discovered BKP and decided to go there twice in the span of 4 nights. BKP has amazing food and possibly the widest variety of any restaurant in Yellowknife. A different food-theme night each day of the week and an extensive food and drinks menu to begin with. The service is fast and the friendliest we've encountered in Yellowknife and the food is delicious all while being one of the cheaper places to eat in the city. If you had one night in Yellowknife this would be the place I recommend for dinner.
