We have been visiting the Valley for 3 years running now and have come to include a visit to Pete Luckett's vineyard (and "Pete's", his very well-stocked grocery store in Wolfville) as both being mandatory! Try the "corn poppers" at Pete's market -- they go good with the guacamole dip. Pete Luckett is definitely one very well-organized, personable, hands-on owner/manager. It's a real treat to visit the vineyard as you feel right at home and with a birds-eye view of the vineyard and great views of what I believe is the Look-Off in the distant horizon, we instantly felt right at home and had a feeling we were literally "dining with the vines". The food and wine are excellent quality and value, and if it happens to rain a little (as it sometimes seems to whenever we're there) Pete has a large tent area plus well-placed umbrellas to keep customers high and dry while they "wet their whistles".
