This was my girls ,age 11 & 9 first Inn experience and what a delight . The rooms all are lovely in both decor and comfort and had very high ceiling on the third floor. We planned to stay one night and ended up staying for three! We actually had selected another Inn for our second night ( each girl chose an Inn ) however the other Inn was not close in comparison so we decide to eat the cost and return to the Queen Anne. Greg & Julie are really exceptional host and the food is delicious, Greg's steak can top any found in the city of Halifax.. just perfect! The breakfast is served with a help yourself coffee/tea and juice bar, table side fresh bread/muffins, fruit and a changing selection of egg dishes or waffles with fresh whipped cream and fruit. The service in the dining room by Angela our waitress was perfect. We spent a day just in Annapolis Royal visiting the Gardens, Fort , Museums, shops ( chocolate shop included) then visit the park walked the water front, it was a full day . Will be back again ..

Room Tip: I booked three rooms one for myself and each of the girls, and it was very reasonable . The girls li...

If you are going to Annapolis Royal this is the PLACE TO STAY! Greg and Julie are excellent hosts and so helpful with things to see and do in the area. The B&B is beautiful, rooms great, and BEST RESTAURANT IN TOWN. We found that out the hard way. We were there 3 nights had dinner the first night and then went out to a different restaurant for dinner the second night, BIG MISTAKE! Had dinner our last night there. EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! The Queen Anne is a beautiful building that has been well-restored and sits on lovely grounds. The breakfasts are sumptuous and the hosts - Greg and Julie - are very friendly and good natured. Annapolis Royal is a very pretty town with an interesting history.

Beautiful heritage inn on a grand scale. The house itself is amazing as are the beautiful grounds. We stayed in the two level back cottage which our daughters absolutely adored. breakfast was good but dinner was amazing - be sure not to miss it. Julie was very helpful with tips on what to do and making calls for us to inquire about Whale watching. Would definitely return.

We stayed here is August. This inn is beautifully restored and maintained.
This inn is owned and managed by a couple. The wife is very nice . . .
We stayed on the second floor. All of the rooms on that floor are very nice -
with high ceilings, tall windows and lots of character.

Room Tip: Stay on the second floor -- tall, light and airy!

We had the joy of staying here for two nights in August 2013. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable- would recommend new pillows for Room #6. The Inn was full but breakfast was pulled off without a hitch. Each day breakfast had 3-4 different offerings as the main dish. Dinner is served on site and is well worth sticking around for. Hosts Greg and Julie could not have been nicer and well prepared for guests.

Room Tip: Room 8, 7, 5 & 6. All are great though. Caution though- some of these are on the third floor w...

The Queen Anne was one of the finest, most spacious B&B's we have ever stayed. Our room was huge with a pencil post bed, Oriental rug, antiques, and floor to ceiling windows. It was the only B&B with central air conditioner. The dining room and grounds were gorgeous too. The Inn was just down the street from the Historic Gardens. Our breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, homemade muffin and Eggs Benedict, my choice. The owners were friendly and hospitable. It's the ONLY place to stay in the area!
