“Very informative tour”
Reviewed 2 August 2012

This was not only a lighthouse tour but a walking tour along the main street. Historial buildings were pointed out and their history told. Fascinating facts about local historians, authors (Mark Twain visited), interesting events in the town's history were told in an entertaining and informative manner. A high point of our visit.

“Small lighthouse on beautiful town waterfront.”
Reviewed 17 June 2012

Very small but pretty lightstation exists near the wharf in Annapolis Royale. Surrounded by grass, there are some benches and rocks to sit on and view the Annapolis River vista towards Digby. A nice wooden riverside boardwalk passes by this lighthouse through town and over to historic Fort Anne. The Lighthouse is worth a picture taking stop on a tour through small but friendly Annapolis Royale, off Highway 1 & 201. Parallel parking near lighthouse is free as is parking off back streets to your right. Note street is one way at lighthouse & wharf location in town. Town is only about three streets wide, so no problems if you can manage a short walk down to the waterfront and lighthouse.
