“Read each stone as you walk by.”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

As my friend and I walked by each of these graves during a rain and wind storm having a beer and notice have many people and children died so young. And perhaps the message would be to really injoy life everyday and live life to the fullest. Cause you never know. Never did this before and I recomend doing this. Just reading about the ages of these people who have passes away and reflect on your own life could be taken away at any time. This experience was an eye opener. I am 60 years old..

“Closed to the public the day we were there”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

The church was listed on the list of "things to do" however when we arrived off the cruise ship, we found the church closed. Was able to walk around the church and visit the grave yard which by the way needs some repairs and upkeep.

“Charming”
Reviewed 10 November 2013

This charming church was build in 1785. Walk in and go back in time. Costumed actors tell you about the history. If you are lucky, there is a craft fair in the adjacent building. Beautiful hand made goods at reasonable prices. You also get to interact with the local people.

“Lovely Church”
Reviewed 28 September 2013

I have had the pleasure of being a guest at a wedding here which it was a beautiful location. It isn't always open for viewing but if you're lucky enough to see inside, you will not be disappointed!!!

“The oldest building in Sydney.”
Reviewed 18 May 2013

St. George's was built in 1785 and was the first structure erected in the new town. The stone walls were salvaged from the destroyed Fortress of Louisbourg and the bell in the tower was remade from a cannon used during the Crimean war.
