“Great New Year's Eve”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

There were four of us looking for a quiet, yet nice place to celebrate the end of 2013. Trendz Cafe & Wine Bar was perfect.
It was quiet (except for the occasional horn blowing), the tables were not crammed together. The food and choices were a hit with our crowd of slightly picky people. The place was not crowded and our server was very attentive and had a great personality.
I will return again for other occasions and also when I just want to have a nice lunch or dinner.

“Good food”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

Stayed at the hotel and ate in the bar that had the same menu as the restaurant Had jumbo scallops and caesar salad. Very good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice except for the three giant tv screens with sports on them. At least tune one of them to news with closed captioning or something. A little bit pricey but not too bad.

“A nice night out!”
Reviewed 3 November 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and I stayed that the Best Western Plus which is attached to this restaurant and found it very convenient since we could both have a drink without worrying about who's driving home. We tried out this place for a late dinner and thought is was best appreciated in the night time atmosphere. We knew that coming here would be pricey so be aware that you may be paying well over 75$ for 2 people. We spoiled ourselves and had the whole 3 courses along with an entire bottle of the recommended wine.

We started off with the bruschetta which was delectable and vey fresh! We loved that is was homemade and the toasted garlic bread had cheese.

We then had our main which we both decided to get the same and picked the Neapolitan Chicken pasta . It was very rich and very much lacked enough sundries tomatoes which would have made it so much tastier but unfortunately was only mediocre. We still enjoyed it at best but could have used more flavor in general.

We then finished off with the strawberry delight which was a dream. Very light and fresh and just enough to put us over the top. Great desert! A definite must.

All in all the service was impeccable and very knowledgable of the menu and wines. Her name is Amy. She's awesome! We were not disappointed with the service at all.

Our complaints. would be that for a high end restaurant it was strange to have booths. Good color scheme for the place but the booths just didn't seem to fit. Also the lighting fixtures on the walls could definitely use some dusting more often as they were very pretty blown glass pieces and seemed a shame to have it so dusty. Also some tables were oddly located close to entryways and especially to the kitchen. It was really awkward to constantly see all the staff traffic going in and out of the kitchen.

Despite those little nicks it wont stop us from coming back. It was a very pleasant evening with an overall good atmosphere and great friendly service. Definitely recommended.
