“Sandy Cove Beach”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

We were there on a cool, cloudy and windy morning in July, but it was very picturesque and I collected some beautiful rocks and a few shells.

“A day in the sand.”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

Sandy Cove beach, Bay of Fundy side, is well worth the short drive. Watch the road going around the lake. It had a very sharp turn that you can not see around. The beach is very nice for a day of playing in the sand, running barefoot, and jumping the waves. Be careful because the water is very very cold. The tide is constantly changing the look of the beach. Sometimes there are more large rocks exposed around Jerome's Rock and other times the rocks are all but gone from sight. At times it is more sandy and less gravely and others more gravely than sandy. No matter what, it is always a fun place to be for all ages.

“nice beach for a stroll”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

Nice beach for a stroll, the best time to visit is when the tide is low.
But the Bay is too cold for a swim, take you shoes off and enjoy.

“A quick paddle”
Reviewed 22 July 2013

The view is great and the beach is interesting to walk on but the water is too cold for more than a quick paddle to refresh tired feet.

“Lovely Beach”
Reviewed 13 June 2013

Lovely beach, an interesting part of Digby ... was very serene, and hardly anyone around, the time I went ... some bird life ... the trek to the Balancing Rock is worthwhile ... amazing rock formations, apart from the amazing Balancing Rock itself.
