This is the history of Canada under one roof. The mosaic face of Canada; the accounts and the pictures of our early immigrants, the perils they faced, the huge leap of faith that brought them here and the hardships at home that forced them to take that leap. Visiting the museum It is an emotionally charged adventure. You'll walk away with a tear in your eye and pride in your heart.

Very good museum, new movie was excellent. Everyone born in Canada should see it. Very nice to be able to research documents from when my grandparents arrived in Canada. Very helpful staff.

The place to see if you are looking for your family arrivals into Canada and beyond. They have copies of the registers that your family signed for coming to Canada. I saw my Grandparents arrival with my father and aunt when he was a young boy in 1915.

One of the best muséums i've ever visited. Embark in train wagons to discover the fate of millions of immigrants arriving in Canada.

I cried a lot. Vey touching stories and images. Great museum. Very interactive. A must.

It's no doubt an interesting place to visit and the displays are interesting. As an immigrant myself, from a long time ago, not as part of a massive out-migration from a war-torn country, and arriving by jet airplane in the 20th Century, I felt that the museum did not do modern day immigrants credit.
