My wife and I choose the Crown Service King, a little more expensive, but you have the convenience of their lounge. Breakfast gave you enough options to begin your day. We did take advantage of the hotel bar for dinner, since venturing out in the rain was not an option, you will be pleased, good food. Speaking of the rain, my only complaint of the hotel was not being informed of the underground walkway basically down to the waterfront via the Scotia Centre ( a few stores with a food court for anyone who needs something fast). If you are looking for a little shopping area, head up to Brunswick, turn left and walk to Spring Garden Road, 10 min. My wife and I would definitely go back, most of the other hotels are down near the waterfront, Prince George is a couple of blocks up and I mean up or down depending on you look at it.

Room tip: Waterfront rooms have a bit of a view, but also face a bar...say no more

The hotel was perfect. Service was amazing and the restaurant food was delicious. Some great cocktails at the bar as well. The location is super close to everything. I will definitely recommend. Thank you

The Prince George is a great hotel with superior facilities. It is located at the top of a steep hill, convenient for access to the Citadel and the downtown Halifax shopping district (but a strenuous walk back up from the waterfront). We did not eat at the Gio's restaurant this trip, but greatly enjoyed a meal there two years ago. The only weakness was in breakfast choices at the Terrace restaurant - a limited and somewhat overpriced buffet or a la carte items that we were warned would take a long time, a staffing issue really. Servers were quite accommodating but very busy. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Apologies for what appears to be some sloppy breakfast service VirginiaF1131....this is not a typical comment for us - I'm sorry you caught us at our worst and I hope we get to welcome you back sometime soon so we can prove to you this was a bump in the road and not the norm. Take care.

Super convenient location. Great service. It was pouring rain one day and the gentleman at the door found me an umbrella which I had not asked for. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Love it.

I stayed at the Prince George Hotel for business the first week of October and it was excellent! This was my second stay at the hotel - the first being nine years ago. It was great then, and it's better now with the recent renovation. The decor is modern and chic; my room was large, clean and very comfortable, and I had a water view. the food was delicious and the service from the staff was top notch. The Prince George Hotel is perfectly situated downtown, making it easy to walk to all of the attractions and restaurants.
