The gallery is located right downtown and a good spot to visit, especially if it is raining and you want to kill a little over an hour. The gallery has a few nice galleries focused on early Halifax which are worth seeing but the highlight is the Maud Lewis gallery on the main floor. If you have time and $12 to spare, it is a worthwhile. But don't expect to see masterpieces. The gallery is too small and doesn't have the resources to exhibit those unless it is a special show.
