It is a great place to start our trip. The museum had a lot of good information and educated us on the Scottish immigrants who were the first to settle in the area.

Thank Tracey M

A great venue . I was a little sceptical about visiting here after seeing BBC documentary. But I was pleasantly surprised. The whole experience is well worth a visit, very well laid out and very informative. Even found one of my ancestors may have been on board !!!

Before coming to this part of Nova Scotia we read a lot but when we actually came here and read the story about first Scottish immigrants... you become stunt and sad...

It's a totally devastating part of immigration to Canada. What these people went through is astonishing.

You look at what they had started with and what they have achieved...in time... you still can not believe...

But we suggest you visit this exhibit and Ship Hector too...
