The Siobhan Miller Trio from Scotland were very good. Their Folk music was great to sit back & listen to. However, Cassie& Maggie MacDonald (sisters) from Antigonish stole the show. These 2 young women will have you on the edge of your seat, tapping your toes & singing along,I purchased their latest CD - very good.

The shows at the DeCoste are wonderful and prices are so reasonable. Recently attended a one man show with songs and tales of the life of a fisherman and the history of the industry. John Spyder MacDonald does a suburb job performing the songs written by his brother Alaister.

We recently attended a Shendoah concert at DeCoste, not a bad seat in the house!! We enjoyed the seating layout and found the sound to be great. Nice large outdoor patio and the inside foyer is a great spot for a drink before the show!!

Many shows, including local and international artists perfom at this beautiful, acoustically excellent theatre. There really is not a bad seat in the place, although if you purchase your tickets ahead of time you can have a reserved seat. Our daughter held her wedding reception here, with a catering done locally; it was a perfect setting for pictures too, with the Pictou Harbour in the background from the large outdoor deck. Frequently there are artist/photography displays to view in the foyer. In November a large Christmas craft show takes place with high-end vendors selling their local products. You can access their shows and events using the internet, a toll free call or drop by and buy your tickets at their office.

A very busy centre offering frequent, high class entertainment from all over. We were pleasantly surprised that the centre was open by noon for accessing information on upcoming events and ticket availability. The hall is teared seating and one can easily see the entire stage from all seating. The stage is well lit and the sound system well managed. We really enjoyed our visit to hear " men of the deeps".
