kilometers of walking paths, long boardwalk along the beach, food and ice cream location, lots of parking, frequent water fountains (for pets too) and garbage bins, clean, beautifully landscaped, floating water park for kids, canoes, kayaks and paddleboards available to rent.

Went for a walk around the lakeshore up to Minets Point, it is absolutely beautiful. How they have recontructed things, very peacefull especially if you are there early in the morning.

City of Barrie has done an excellent job revitalizing the waterfront. Beach, boardwalk, parking, trails, playground, food, paddling!

Great for families of all ages, the water was clear and sand was clean (patrons please keep it that way!) and lifeguards were on duty.

A great spot to stroll, walk, or ride a bike all with the view of Lake Simcoe. Plenty of parking along the way ($3/hour unless you are a resident and have a pass), restrooms, and concessions. Thoroughly enjoyable.
