We stopped in for barrielicious as this was one restaurant we have been meaning to try. Parking can be a challenge, so be prepared to walk a little bit.
We were seated promptly and our drink order was taken, but it took almost 10 minutes to get our menus, after witch we could place our order for almost 20 minutes.
I am a fan of Barrielicious, however I find resturants are deviating too much from the principals of the festival. The idea is 25 for dinner, not 20.33, not 25.10 and 30. Its 25, and a smaller than usual portion so you can have the 3 courses! They have a fancy menu with 'extra' appetisers too, which again, is not the point.
The food was howeve fantastic, cream of broccoli soup, I could have just had that and nothing else! The lamb was done to perfection, and was quite a large portion. My wife had the pizza which too was fantastic, but too large. Again, missing the point of Barrielicious, the portions are too large, and thus the bizzare and non-conforming price points.
Would we come back for the food? Yes! The service was not good, other tables received much more attention, while when the waitress did come she was professional. To me, good food and poor service = we probably will not come back.
