I stayed one night at Travelodge on business. It was ok all round - ok room, ok sleep, ok service. The location was convenient, breakfast was included and parking was free. My room was on the top floor, and quiet. I couldn't connect to the internet. Overall it was fine for a short stay.

Meals good but took too long to serve. Rooms were very hot and crowded for our meeting.
Own room needs maintenance. Thermostat not work. No paint over closet. Bed uncomfortable.

Dear Guest;
Thank you for taking the time to advise us about your recent stay with us . I must apologise that there was a problem with the heat in your guest room and the meeting room. Unfortunatelyy our heating is now on which means we have no air conditioning so when the temperature outside does go up it is difficult to control and lower the heating. I am pleased that you enjoyed your meal but regret it did take more time than you expected to receive it. We will discuss all of your concerns with the department managers. I do hope you will consider staying with us again in the future despite the issues that you had..

Regards

This place is long overdue for a tear-down.....and has to be closest to, if not the, worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The place is old and everything about it is old.

The bathroom in the room is horrible - stained tiles in shower (mold/mildew), cracked tiles, stained carpet, towel rack fell off the wall, don't move the bed for the dirt underneath is thick.

I've never stayed in Belleville before, but I"m sure this has to be one of the worst places in town.

Oh, and as of 3pm today no maid service. Apparently the feel they have to cater to the guests checking in first as opposed to the already paying customers they already have on site.

Dumpy.

I am travelling with a minor hockey team, and believe me over the last 5 years have stayed at over 50 hotels with hockey, this is either the worst or 2nd worst ever.

The service at "Windows" restaurant was crap, the food mediochre but expensive.

The whole place needs a huge overhaul.

You kind of take your chances here. The location and grounds are the best thing about this hotel. We stayed here before and had a great time, beds very comfortable and clean, bathroom too, nice clean towels, had bought vouchers for the breakfast that was really good.

Last time was Thanksgiving weekend. Had a room full of drunken teenagers down the hall yelling and screaming until about 2 am; but after that it was pretty quiet. Also a smell of pot seeping through the bathroom venting system was there all night until the next morning. Teams of hockey players and baseball players were checked into the hotel didn't help.

Get a room facing the back (pool and marina). If you get one facing West and you are over the kitchens you cant open the balcony door because the smell from the kitchen exhausts will make you throw up.
Travelodge should pay guests to stay in the rooms over the kitchens!

You get what you pay for, ... and if you are unlucky this takes on a whole new meaning.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the top (4th) floor, facing East, so you don't have people stomping around...

Dear Guest;

Thank you for your feedback. I hope that you did enjoy your stay on this occasion, and that you did get a bay view room in the perfect location. I will review the smell from the guest rooms close to the kitchen extractor! I also apologize that your previous stay was not a positive experience.

We look forward to seeing you again very soon.
