“Courtyard”
Reviewed 1 June 2013

First courtyard lunch of the season on Friday. Never disappoints. Fantastic bit of Europe right in the downtown of Belleville really helps to take your mind off of other things and relax. Food was very good. Service was impeccable as always.

“Very Disappointed”
Reviewed 19 November 2012

Found this restaurant many years ago, totally loved the dining experience and food, but that is no longer the case.

On two separate occassions we have as a family gone to Dinkel's for our annual Christmas get together, the 1st yaer the chef was not in and the food as a result was mediocre, service very slow.
This year after verifying that a chef was going to be present, dinner was once again very disappointing, very limited menu, specials very ordinary, nothing too special, again service was slow, ceasar salad was wilted, and the food presentation was lacking. Cake deserts were excellent, but the creme caramel lacked caramel. We were told at time of dining that the chefs were catering about 350 people offsite and Paulos next door. On nights when the chefs are so in demand, Dinkel's should be closed - meal per person without alcohol was $35.00/person.

Additionally, the lights were turned out in the bathroom and turned very low about 8:30PM giving us the hint to leave. I do not believe we will return, shall try Capers as all reviews appear to be excellent.

“Call the Bank”
Reviewed 13 October 2012

All the extra on the plates of decorating the plate like a cake. Small portions for what you get. Small selection of items on the menue. For what you get it was tasty.Call the bank before you go.

“Nice courtyard”
Reviewed 9 September 2012

Nice setting in their courtyard. Service was good.
We ordered one of their daily specials, the baked salmon with herbs, but it didn't seem to be a freshly prepared meal. Best part of our dinner was the dessert, the apple caramel cheesecake.

“Great menu for that special night out or lunch in the courtyard”
Reviewed 9 August 2012

Located in the heart of downtown Belleville, entering Dinkel's Courtyard with its fountain and vines was like stepping into the grounds of an Italian villa. A great mini escape, good food, great wine list including local wine. A little pricey but worth it.
