Never have I ever stayed in a Motel this bad, after this will probably never stay at any Motel 6 anywhere in the world. Starting at the front door the place stinks, literally. Front desk personal should take a course in customer service...or English!.
The room looks like a dorm room, cheap click laminate flooring, bar fridge and "kitchen chairs" from Salvation Army thrift shop I'm sure. The bed spread was something that might be interesting if it was in a 6 year old's bedroom. Blankets, sheets and pillows obviously are the originals...or from Salvation Army too. Seriously Motel 6 is a big enough chain to be able to get new sheets and pillows, curious to know at what point they actually do get new ones.
Don't bother opening the dirty window if you're on the highway side unless you want to be up all night listening to the trucks stopping as they come off the highway.
The bed, let me put it this way, if the floor was carpeted it would have been more comfortable then the mattress if you could call it a mattress. The 4 hand towels and 2 mini bars of soap in the washroom where hardly worth the effort maybe they should save the money and put up a sign with "bring your own soap so we can invest the money into better pillows" would help explain the lack of proper essentials you expect at even the cheapest chain motels. The pillows, were not much thicker than the hand towels from the bathroom. Oh and call the front desk for more towels and pillows and get a response of "come get them we don't have room service".!!
OK, so the price is low in comparison with the rest of the places around but the price is way too high for this place. Should be advertised as a hostel for world backpackers.
Wondering if this place is on the verge of bankruptcy???

I have been travelling around the continent and have been staying in Motel 6. To my best surprise one at Motel 6, Brampton, Ontario, canada has been the best I have stayed so far. You see a nice, smiling and warm welcome at the front desk, the check in was perfect. The receptionist was friendly and referred us to nice restaurant Casey's nearby and also we went to the movie next door. The room has new hardwood floors and fresh bedding was very welcoming, though the mattress was bit saggy. The location is extremely convenient to access from hwy 401& 410. and quite close to Bramalea City Centre shopping mall which has over 200 stores, the price is less than Toronto Eaton Centre. Fresh aroma of coffee was more than average, and hey for the price you pay $59.99 you get lot more than what you can get in other motels around.

Upon check-in, I noticed a sign at the desk informing all patrons that there is a "per person" charge. In my mind's eye, I saw the proverbial red flag pop up. When we got to our room, which was supposed to be non-smoking, we were affronted with the nasty smell of stale smoke and possibly an air freshener. Turning on the flickering neon-lights only revealed the dingiest little room I have ever encountered. The walls looked almost plastic, the furniture and tv all bolted down (a reflection of the type of clientele they're used to, no doubt), no coffee machine and...dirty sheets! The bedspread had a disgusting array of what was obviously bodily fluids, and the sheets were dirty and definitely unchanged since its last usage. The carpets on the floor were dirty and the paper-thin walls stained with who-knows-what. Speaking of paper-thin walls, there were teenagers running up and down the hall all night long, screaming and at one point, crying. In the plastic "coffin-esque" bathroom, the showerhead looked a lot like the nozzle on a garden hose, and there were no toiletries at all. My husband called down to front desk to have some new sheets brought up to us. The man at the front desk asked him if he would rather just get a new room, but we decided to simply take the new sheets, for fear that we'd meet the same problem. He did bring the sheets up promptly, to his credit. But then we had to remake the bed ourselves, and in doing so, noticed that the beds are short a sheet- just one fitted sheet is provided, along with a spreadsheet! The room reminded me of the college dorms-- only those are much cleaner! The Courtyard Marriott is about 5 mins away, and for about $20 more, you'll be getting a clean, modern, quiet hotel that's actually quite nice. Suffice it to say, we'll never stay at Motel 6 again.

Unless you like trying to walk through a hall full of drunken teenagers who stay up making noise all night long.

Arrived there on Friday evening. By 9 PM the hallway was full of teenagers carrying in cases of beer to several rooms. The front desk and the lone security guard did not seem to care about the noise level and looked the other way regarding the hallway activities, not to mention the paper thin walls of the very small room. Kids smoking in the hallway, crushing out cigarette butts on the carpet caused my "smoke free" room to smell like a smoking room.

Saturday, same thing and unable to sleep from the noise and hallway activities.

The stay was terrible and I will never return to this place again.

My husband and I reserved a room for his employers Christmas party. We arrived to find a couiple of people waiting and within minutes the doorway behind us began to fill with people with reservations. The hotel was totally booked. THERE WERE NO ROOM CARDS> THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON ON DUTY ON THE HOTEL AND WE WERE FORCED TO WAIT BETWEEN 45 MINUTES AND AN HOUR FOR THE MANAGER TO COME FROM MISSISSAUGA WITH THE ROOM CARDS. The poor fellow working held it together very well considering many people were angered at the fact they would be late for their event. He was asked if they knew they were fully booked why did they not have the cards there, tho which he replied" we didn't think everyone would be there at three" He was corrected that it was now 5:30. We finally got our key and carried on to our non smoking suite. HA..not. The window was open to air out the last peoples smokefest. There was a cloth over the fire alarm in the room and the battery was pulled. We went to our dinner and came back around 11:30 pm. I requested a battery from the front desk with no reaction, I turned to the manager and said you are going to get me a battery for the fire alarm right, you are in violation of the fire code, he said ohok what room. I told him 202. We continued up the elevator to find teenagers everywhere, with drinks tearing up and down the halls and the stairs. One at the corner on lookout. I said we will not be getting any sleep tonight to my husband. We manouvered around a young girl that was just hammered coming up the stairs and closed our door. My husband turnewd up the tv to block their noise. It's a good thing the battery we didn't have was only needed when the hotel power was out, cause in the next feew minutes the alarms started going. The kids had started a fire on the floor above us and the sprinkler system was going off. We removed all of our things from the room and went to our van. We went inside the lobby after about a hour to find the computers were still down and we couldn't get a refund at that time. The police were telling the manager this was the second time they were there babysitting the teens, apparantly its the plkace to party, there were 2 busloads of them there. There was a big brawl in the parking lot and the swat team showed up. I feel no attention was paid to the adults that were cheated out of a wonderful evening. We were shrugged off. I will never return. We got a refund from the company rather than the 2 free nights they were trying to give instead.
