There’s too much to describe. The flower gardens are indescribable. The rose gardens at Hendrie, the water lilies amd colourful displays at the rock garden. The formal setting of Lakimg garden. And Cootes Paradise. The lilac dell in the spring. Seeing Deer and chipmunks on a regular basis. RBG has brought marshland, turtles, and eagles back to our area. This is truly my favourite place to be.

Last week we saw Herons, Trumpeter Swans and many many small birds. The sparrows land on your hand for seeds, and the nutfinches will follow you from tree To tree. Last visit a downie woodpecker landed on my hand.

Paradise found.

We love visiting RBG with our children, there are often events that help make each visit special and events like the Enchanted Gardens and Christmas themed events that our family look forward to attending every year as we are members. The membership is a great value for families and also includes 10% off kids camps which our 7 year looks forward to every year. I strongly recommend RBG to any family or outdoors lover.
