“Lovin' the Bistro”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

Getting ready for a return trip to Downtown Bistro & Grill. I love how the staff just naturally make me feel right at home and serve a wonderful array of dishes which are freshly prepared. I especially enjoy the Greens and Berries salad but am thinking of trying the French Onion Soup this time ... sounds good for an opener considering the cooler weather is arriving. I highly recommend trying the steak for the taste and tenderness ... superb!! Since October is here, I am ordering the Schnitzel and maybe one of the recommended imported beers. And then a nice Crème Brule for dessert followed up with a little visit at the table from Mike who is owner and chef. Can't wait for my upcoming visit. Keep up the amazing work Downtown Bistro.

“Good Spot For Appetizers & Drinks In Downtown Burlington”
Reviewed 21 August 2013

Good appetizers & drinks in a small setting with limited seating. Better to sit outside as the patio faces the right way during the summertime. Don't though ask for the beef sliders as they always seem to be out of them (could they be that popular?). Tuesday night is good as the Bistro serves up 1/2 price appetizers all evening after 4:30 pm (something other restaurants in Burlington just don't get).

“Top notch cusine in this quaint little bistro”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

Family run restaurant with a tremendous menu... food presentation was top notch and the quality and taste was very memorable. Great service, heartfelt and genuine. Only seats about 5 to 6 tables, so make reservations.

Very local organic menu options. Great atomosphere.... very impressed.

“Great food with no rush.”
Reviewed 15 August 2013 via mobile

Great great food and the wait staff was very friendly and very good. They do not rush you and very nice dinner. I would eat here again for sure. The Panchetta Chicken in tuscan sauce was amazing!

Recommend it for a nice easy dinner evening.

“Just ok”
Reviewed 4 August 2013 via mobile

We tried the Bistro as part of the Taste of Burlington on Saturday night. Outdoor patio was nice. Great menu choices, but food was only warm when it arrived. The waitress was excellent and very friendly. Time for the food the come from the kitchen between courses was too long. Pickeral was cooked perfectly, but found too many bones. Tenderloin of beef was perfect and would recommend.
