“Warm, cozy, inviting and live music! What more could you want?”
Reviewed 28 April 2012

We are new to the Guelph area and we saw recommedations for this place online so we thought we would give it a try! It has an electic style setting..very intimate and cozy! We ordered thai mussels which were great and served with a smile. The pad thai and curry were also delicious!

We went on Saturday at 7:30pm and the live music was just beginning.. it was a local musician who seemed very friendly and talented. Kept everyone entertained.

I would HIGHLY recommend this place! The owners make the trip especially worth while as they are VERY friendly and helpful with suggestions for local beers, entertainment etc...

“Formerly the Carden Street Cafe”
Reviewed 12 March 2012

The Carden Street Cafe is no more. It has been sold and has opened under new management, under the name "Happy Treveller Bistro". Was there on March 5 and had the Pad Thai. My wife had the curried salmon. Both were excellent. The new menu was quite interesting, with a similar international theme as the old Cafe. The staff was courtious and helpful. Now serving breakfast on the weekends. Open 7 days/week. This looks to be a worthy successor to the Cafe.
