Beautiful hotel, good location and the service was excellent.
The only drawback is the rooms are a little small but they are very clean.
- Free Wifi
- Free Parking
In town for a wedding so not downtown too much. Room was large and seemed recently renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was excellent but underused. Easy access once you know where you are!!
After having stayed at the Sheraton in Hamilton for years while on business, I decided to stay someplace different. The Crowne came to mind. Staff were very friendly and helpful even though the hotel was being used as a temporary residence for a nearby college, which I feared would either reduce service or compromise the facility. There were a few conference rooms that were not available, but the cleaning staff came early and did a good job, the beds were very nice and the decor still felt brand new.
Great hotel, great staff. As two students who were randomly stranded in Hamilton, the front desk was extremely helpful with helping us locate a room at a reasonable price. The free breakfast offered by front desk turned out to be delicious and very speedy as we were in a rush. Though Hamilton isn't an ideal tourist place, the hotel was an excellent place to hide out and every minute spent there was wonderful. I tried to call and tell the manager what a great job the front desk did, but only got an answering machine. Thanks for the great stay!
Thank you so much for writing this review. I'm so glad that the staff was able to accommodate you and you enjoyed your stay. I agree with you about the breakfast, It is delicious. I certainly hope to see you at our property again.
We had to stay there due to an unexpected family illness nearby in the hospital. Just by overhearing our chat while checking in, Dawn offered us the compassionate rate and was very helpful and supportive working very hard to get us adjoining rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean and the hotel was great overall. Highly recommend.
We stayed at this hotel because it was one of 2 hotels affiliated with a conference that we attended. The room was alright, not great but not bad, but the walls were thin and the neighbors were noisy! In fact we complained 3 nights in a row about noise - we ended up with a hockey team next door, across from us and down the hall! Finally the front desk got us moved to a very nice, huge room on another floor. This was the honeymoon suite, which oddly enough had no door for the toilet (but they had hung a curtain)!
The restaurant was passably good as well although expensive for what you recieved.
