“Great food and ambiance!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 October 2013

We have been to this restaurant many times with friends and just as a couple. It is always great. The whole restaurant has tons of atmosphere with huge high ceilings and gorgeous lighting. It is a unique place with a great menu. We have tried everything from apps to dessert and have never been disappointed. Even sitting on the patio in the summer is a delight. Try their amazing caesar salad, the fish and chips and their ribs are finger-licking good. Their special sandwiches and yummy soups at lunch are great too. We had brunch there recently and it was great and priced right. Thanks to the staff for creating a wonderful place to eat!

“It's okay”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 October 2013

The food was okay. It's, as another said, "pub food". Was it bad? Most people in my party liked it. I, personally, found it uninspired. I'd rather eat at home - it would be healthier and more carefully prepared. I would go again to be with that group but I wouldn't take family or friends there. I wouldn't complain about what they do but I wouldn't, personally, choose it as a dining destination.

“Stoney Creek's Best!!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 September 2013 via mobile

This has quickly become our favorite place to eat. We love the atmosphere inside and out, and the historic feel of the old building is very unique. The food is amazing and priced adequately. The appetizer selection is amazing, we love the bacon wrapped scallops. We have yet to have an entree that has disappointed. The daily chef specials only widen the variety. Can't wait to return for another great meal.

“Basic Pub Food, Not Dinner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 September 2013 via mobile

Four of us went for a birthday dinner. The menu was disappointing. It was mostly sandwiches and pub food. All four of us couldn't decide. I started with the French onion soup which was horrible. My main was the fish and chips which wasn't too bad, not exactly a bday dinner though. It wasn't busy and the server was really slow especially to give us our bill and pay. The atmosphere is very nice especially outside. Ok place for nachos or wings when your watching a football game.

“WOW, a hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2013

I was not expecting this place to impress as it did!

The pulled Pork poutine was outstanding! Montreal watch out!

The Ribeye steak panini was equally impressive. Served perfectly and fast.

The Citrus Atlantic Salmon and Tomahawk Pork Chop also worth ordering - the 3 of us having an early dinner spoke about it for weeks and do plan on going back.

QEW and Hwy 8 - convenient and easy to get to. Just off the Red Hill Valley Pkwy.
