Read many positive reviews and had to check it out. We went on a Friday night (thankfully made reservations as recommended by fellow reviewers) and there were four in our party. The server was friendly, informative and efficient. Our food comprised of the following: cheesy garlic bread, French onion soups (best I've ever had), cheesy broccoli and spinach soup, spinach salad, rolled ribs and chicken in a pot. For dessert we all shared the after dinner mint which was delicious!! The food was simply awesome!! The chicken in a pot was the best chicken pot pie I have ever tasted!! Ribs were to die for!! The prices were more than reasonable for the portion sizes. So glad we made the drive to Rockton, we will most certainly be returning in the future. Great job to the staff at this establishment for providing such a positive dining experience!!!

You can't go wrong with fresh home made food. This place delivers on quality as well as service. You must try the stuffed rolled ribs, unbelievable, and the coconut cream pie is awesome. This little gem is a must!

I have to agree with the other reviewers. They've captured the charm of this place. This is such a comfortable little restaurant. It has an old time charm by way of its decor and the restaurant staff have a pleasant manner that make you feel like you are from the village of Rockton. The menu has good fresh ingredients that are carefully prepared. We have always seemed to get there at the right time and haven't had to wait but it does fill up fact on Sundays at mid-day when we have been out exploring in the country.

Quaint, rustic yet intimate atmosphere with the most helpful, friendly and accommodating staff.
Food was superb - parmesan crusted chicken served on mushroom, broccoli and farfalle pasta which was bathed in a delicious Alfredo cream sauce.

Chicken in a pot was delicious - substantial size pieces of freshly roasted chicken, potatoes and vegetables smothered in a vermouth, shitake mushroom sauce and topped with a flakey herbed pastry. A generous size meal on it's own.

Caesar salad was tasty and crisp. Warm, freshly baked small loaf of bread with butter - a simple pleasure served prior to the meal.

Other options available - Variety of appetizers, pasta, seafood, steak, soup, burgers, sandwiches and lighter fare as well as freshly made decadent desserts.

Reasonably priced considering the quality of the food, presentation and attention to detail which all served to make the experience delightful.
Handicap accessible.
Reservations recommended.
