This hotel was selected from the website. What a great choice! Lovely facility. room was great; clean, nicely appointed, comfortable! Staff at check in; Ashley and Angelina were extremely helpful, pleasant, personable, naturally friendly. The complimentary apples (macintosh) were a nice touch.
Ashley and Angelina helped my husband and I find a golf course to play at. When we saw the girls they asked how things worked out with golf! Nicely appointed lobby, computer access was easy. However, when we stopped at the desk later in the day, the young men were not too knowledgeable about restaurants. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, which was very good. The service, Rose, was pleasant and welcoming. If a family is travelling to the area, I would recommend this place, as they have a nice indoor pool geared for children. For couples travelling to the area, look no further, this is the place to stay.

Our son got married at the Ivy Lea this weekend and many of our family (including us) stayed at the Ambassador. The hotel met our every need and the staff were fantastic! They were friendly, charming and professional. The rooms were perfect, spacious, clean and quiet. Normal check-in time is in the afternoon but the staff ensured that all of us could check in early so that we could freshen up prior to leaving for the wedding. There is plenty of free parking and the hotel location is great, only 10 minutes to shopping or downtown Kingston. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends and we will be staying there on our next trip to Kingston!

Just came back today from a little getaway for our 16th Anniversary. We had room 124. It was a beautiful large renovated corner room with a Jacuzzi tub & stand up shower. Everything was perfect! We thought the location was great, a bit away from all the traffic on Princess but only 5 min drive to all the downtown shops & restaurants. We would like to thank Venicio & his staff, especially front desk for their help in choosing dining & entertainment nearby. It's easy to tell that this hotel is very well run. Do not hesitate to book your next getaway at The Ambassador!!

The Ambassador Conference Centre has everything a business traveler would want from super clean rooms, excellent food and a great pool and sauna area. The hotel in located in a central location for easy access to everything Kingston has to offer. It's the only place I stay.

Stayed at this hotel over the long weekend to move our son into University. The hotel is convenient for the University - about 5 minutes away. The hotel seems to be an older hotel in need of renovations. We were given a room on the first floor and it had a strong smell of mold and mildew. We tried to open the window to air it out, but the window was full of spider webs and we had to close it. We requested to be moved and the front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room we were given on the second floor was much better, although there was still a hint of mildew, it was very mild. The room seemed mostly clean, although there was long hair left in the bathtub and cracks in the wall in the bathroom. In the hallways you could see spider webs in the corners on the carpeting.
The hotel is not really convenient for restaurants so we ate at the hotel, as they have a Prime Rib Buffet on Saturday night. We found it to be not worth $25.00 per person.
Overall, considering we paid over $200 a night, we were disappointed, as we've stayed at nicer hotels for much cheaper. We probably will not stay here again.
