It depends on the taste but to my liking this hotel was the second besr I have stayed in my life.
The first one was in Valparaiso, also making you feel at home, very friendly owners and staff, making you feel that you belong to the place somehow. The breakfast we had, was the best we had during our 15 days travel of our North tour.
It is very close to downtown, the rooms are spacious the kaftan that I saw on the Wall of the Hall fascinated me, I wonder where they got it from ?

we were exploring the area and saw this hotel as we drove past. It was the 1st one we approached for one night's accommodation for 2 couples and a 14 year old boy. The initial welcome through to the upgrade and the ambience and the closeness to Kingston town hub made it a remarkable find and much more than just a nights' accommodation. high ceilings, terrace for light breakfast and fun !! Thanks

Room Tip: a hotel with character!!

This is our second stay here. An old Mansard located 2 blocks from the waterfront and the restaurants. We love the charm, the service and the proximity to the park, the harbor, the shops, pubs and restaurants. More a place for couples, looking for quiet sleep away from the bustle, the rooms are spacious and quaintly appointed. Not too stuffy, and most welcoming. What makes this place stand out is the service. This our home when we are are here!

Great B & B in gorgeous, convenient neighborhood. Three of us stayed comfortably in a large room on the main floor. It was a lovely, large and quiet room. Staff was very accommodating and even offered a tasty gluten free English muffin with the light breakfast. The tea was quality and the coffee nice and strong. I would recommend the Belvedere to anyone who appreciates an historic, small, but professionally run hotel.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. it is a historic home built in the 1880's. We enjoyed a continental breakfast brought up to our room. I would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel. The only I would add is a coffee and tea station available in their parlour downstairs when you come in at night in perhaps thermos'

We stayed here for a few nights recently. The hotel is beautifully maintained old house with period furniture and decor, so more a more interesting place to stay than a conventional chain hotel.
The room we stayed in was roomy with a nice bed, furniture and fittings. The bathroom had a tub and was just fine. TV with heaps of channels, no coffee and tea making facilities and no fridge which you will forgo for the charm. Breakfast was light, so don't expect a hearty meal, but sufficient and was presented in the beautiful main room. Friendly and helpful staff and fair value for money.

This hotel was exactly what was expected! Old charm of a large estate home, antique furniture and very friendly staff. Felt like I was staying at my great great Aunt's house! You want a hotel.... Go to a hotel! ;)
