The place is small but friendly, you have a choice of a sandwich, grilled cheese, etc menu, but you can choose to create your own gourmet sandwich or grilled cheese. You have 4 or 5 choices of bread, same for the cheeses, and then condiments and toppings. You can creat a succulent 'monster' and they'll do it for you. Really pleasant and realllyyyy good... perfect after a couple of beers with friends! yum!

Searched for something different in Kingston. Checked out Trip Advisor and Urban Spoon reviews. A restaurant that specializes in grilled cheese? Really? That's different, so we gave it a try. Soooooo glad we did! What a great spot!!
Ordered two Roasted Veggie, a Brisket, an Herb Chicken, and a BBQ Pulled Pork. A couple of waffle fries on the side as well. Five diners all had nothing but great things to say. Excellent in every respect!
To top it off, we ordered a grilled cheesecake for dessert. This is something you just HAVE to try. So original, and SSSSOOOOO GOOD!!!
The two guys working tonight (Sunday, 29 Sep 2013) were very friendly, engaging, and helpful.

My wife and sons are Celiac, and Mlt Dwn has one of the best gluten free grilled cheese sandwiches they've ever tasted. Best of all they didn't get contaminated at all, and they're very sensitive to contamination. The two brothers who own the restaurant go the extra mile to clean all the equipment before doing gluten free sandwiches, which was much appreciated. And my non gluten free sandwich was excellent, too.

The restaurant owners were very friendly, fun and laid back, and the restaurant has a hip, fun feel. Plus it's on what appears to be the main "hip" road of a college town, so the whole area around there is nice. We will definitely go back if we're in the area, but here's hoping the restaurant is a huge hit and opens franchises all over! Highly recommended.

We heard about this place from a work colleague and decided to try it out as a supper-time stop on our drive from Ottawa to Toronto. The restaurant is small and doesn't have a lot of seating, but we got there at a good time and it was empty (although within minutes it was pretty much full - that's how small it is!). The menu allows you to construct a sandwich from a series of ingredients, or you can choose one that's "pre-designed". As "newbies" in the world of gourmet grilled cheese we opted for the latter. Our sandwiches came quickly, accompanied by waffle fries and dill pickles. We also ordered a beers to wash it all down, although we could have had wine (which is sold in small two-glass bottles). The food was very tasty and portions were reasonably big. A better quality of fry would go a long way to making this a real gourmet experience, however - if it were up to me I would suggest switching to hand-cut skin-on fries. The two guys running the place were friendly and talkative, even going so far as to disclose their plans to expand the operation to other Ontario locations. This place is a bit out-of-the-ordinary and worth a try.
