“Wonderful”

We stayed on the waterfront and the view was amazing. It was so nice to be able to park the car and just spend the time walking around checking out the sights.

Beautiful area to stroll around and stop for a coffee, or browse through the shops. Friendly atmosphere.

“Beautiful, scenic walk”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

The walk along the lake in Kingston is beautiful. One can walk for several blocks along the waterfront. Unfortunately, sometimes on has to walk on what is actually private property, such as hotels or museums, in order to continue the walk. But it is very relaxing and worthwhile.

“Boaters...do not ignore this port”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Kingston by far and away has one of the nicest recreational boat ports on Lake Ontario. The old buildings, the ambiance of their restaurants, only a short walk from your dock are terrific.Choose your food or restaurant's decor,it's all there.Old Fort Henry's retreat ceremony, Buskers weekend,Kingston Blues Fest or just drop in for a visit at the day docks, you will not be disappointed.

“A spring wedding”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Beautiful windy day at Lake Ontario. We were privileged to see a lovely wedding party arrive for photographs at the gazebo right next to the waterfront. Bride was wearing a gorgeous pair of ruby red sparkly spiked platform heels, frothy lace strapless gown long blonde hair in ringlets, bridesmaids in long ruby red strapless gowns, off white fowers with a single red rosebud in centre. Beautiful wedding, sunny day got lots of pictures of the lake and two cruise boats passing by. Lovely place to walk right next to Lake Ontario. Definitely the best part of the trip was going to Lake Ontario Park and the downtown waterfront.
