This is an incredibly charming B & B - it certainly feels more like a small boutique hotel. Charmingly restored, and excellent food. Excellent location, and with parking, breakfast and wifi it is definitiely value for money.

We loved everything here! Great location to start with -- everything is walking distance. Free parking. Complimentary wi-fi. There was three of us (a couple and a friend) and we loved being able to share the three-room Gordon suite. We had our own bedroom, our friend slept on a comfy sofa bed, we had a private patio, a fireplace... Great walk-in shower with jets. And breakfast was DELICIOUS! Maybe the best pancakes I have ever had... :-)

Just stayed for one night in the Gardini Suite and loved every minute of it! Wished we could have stayed for longer :( The Inn and rooms are actually much more charming in person- the photos don't do the place justice! The jacuzzi tub in our room was a nice touch. The Inn is within walking distance to all of the shops on Princess and within a block of the water- very nice area. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The Inn itself has very interesting features that reflect its past as a Gentlemen's Club and a bank before that. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend the Frontenac Club and can't wait to return and try out a different room!

Room Tip: Gardini was great! Loved it!

Booked this for a one night getaway to Kingston, and Frontenac Club Inn fit perfectly with the romance and relaxation theme that I was going for. Staff were friendly, the room (Miller Suite) was spacious and had tons of character. The location was within walking distance to everything you could possibly want: downtown shops and restaurants, beautiful parks, the waterfront, and the Queen's University main campus. Parking was free for the duration of the stay, and for a few hours after checkout. The included breakfast was top notch as well: freshly squeezed juice, locally sourced coffee, fresh bread, and gourmet omelettes were on the menu. I highly recommend this place, even if you're on a budget, as the prices are very reasonable.

Room Tip: Cartwright house is a bit quieter than staying in the main building.

I think that merely calling this a B&B is an understatement. It offers so much more. Gracious hosts, excellent friendly staff, creative food, and a property has been carefully preserved is only the starting point for an entirely unique experience on this amazing Kingston property. The Frontenac Club Inn absorbed our group of 17 with ease helping create memories that will not soon be forgotten. The Gardini Room was the hands down favourite but every one of us had a delightful space. The Chapman Room for our evening cocktail party, the back patio, the dining area added to our stay. But steps away from excellent food, fantastic shopping and live music into the wee hours, I’d recommend this spot without hesitation.

This was our 4th stay at this wonderful B&B. housed in a former bank turned gentleman's club, every room is different yet lovely. All with gas fireplaces, some with sitting rooms and even occasionally a study or patio. The main building has rooms with very high ceilings. Well located, just a block from Market Square, in the heart of Kingston's historic downtown, this is convenient to do anything in Kingston. Breakfast is lovely, and hearty. The prices are competitive with the price of sterile hotel rooms elsewhere in Kingston. Whether for a weekend, business, or a visit to children away at school, this is a great place to stay.

Third stay at this luscious B&B. I'm not usually a big fan of these but this has the feel of a grand home of the 1800s and engenders genteel acknowledgement of other guests without feeling crowded and having forced conversations. The common areas retain the men's club feel, the breakfast rooms are sunny and bright, and the rooms peppered over 3 floors and the annex are delightfully unique. For business I recommend the Annex rooms as they are a bit more sheltered from street noise (really just an issue in the winter) and have extra space for lounging. Breakfasts here are gourmet concoctions that are a fabulous way to start the day. His is a place you shouldn't miss if you are headed to the Limestone City.

Room Tip: The rooms in the Annex are easier to access and larger
