My daughter and I spent Mother's Day weekend (May 2014) at Green Woods Inn and were absolutely amazed by the warmth and graciousness of our hosts, Tessa and Nigel. The food was outstanding and my daughter, who is vegan was treated to a special menu which met all her needs. As their web site states, we had a savoury breakfast one morning and a sweet breakfast the following morning. Tessa pays close attention to little touches, such as a pansy on top of the fruit cup, which made our stay al the more special. The Inn is lovely, the rooms well appointed and our room (the Linden) was spacious, airy and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together, and very much appreciated being so warmly welcomed by our hosts. The Inn is well situated on Highway 15, just 5 minutes from downtown Kingston. It is also handy for travelling to Westport and other lakes in the area. We would definitely come back again.
