The granddaddy of the local beer is The Brew Pub. Doing craft beer since the eighties, when everyone started thinking micro-beers might be good. Literally before anyone thought of it.
The inside decor has been paraphernalia-encrusted for longer than the twenty years I have been going there. The menu has shifted from brown pub food to now sharply focus on in-house smoked foods and is well done. This is not the place to get fish and chips, this is the place to order any kind of pork cooked on a grill.
With the explosion of craft beer in the last few years, their tap list has reached epic proportions, but really most people go for their regular roster of brews. They have a few standards and a dizzying list of beers that make appearances all year long. For beer drinkers, both young and hip(ster), as well as the old folks, this is a most see shrine to craft beer.

We enjoyed the some local beers, reasonable priced food, we had the Taco Salad with brisket and a brisket sandwich (2 sides ) one side was the mac & cheese....so yummy!!! Both were very filling and large portions.

The beer is great. Try the cask condition ale.
The food does not match the quality of the beer. The chicken pot pie was reheated in a microwave. It's crust was soggy and had no taste.
Go for the beer, eat elsewhere. The beer is a 5 food is .......
