this is our 5th year camping at sturgeon woods and we would not go anywhere else in the area. this place is extremely clean and well maintained. we have met some great friends at this campground and they feel the same way as we do. we know our kids are safe since it is a family atmosphere. everyone seems very friendly. i highly recommend sturgeon woods.

Room Tip: our favourite event is christmas in july.

We always enjoy ourselves when we go to this campground. We have been camping at sturgeon woods for many years. The family has fun and i find it very reasonable in price and clean. The pools and waterslide are great and have lifeguards. The indoor facility is a nice option in case it is raining.

Room Tip: book ahead for long weekends

We have been camping at Sturgeon Woods for the past 4 years and have ALWAYS had a great time. We always book for one week in July, Labour day weekend and Thanksgiving weekend. The kids have a great time and we do too. Every year there is always something new to enjoy. The facilites are very clean and staff has always been very nice to us.
If you are looking for a nice FAMILY campground then this is the place to go.
We had another great summer of camping at Sturgeon Woods.

Room Tip: This is great campground!

We bought a trailer from sturgeon woods and rented a campsite. They promised us the world until they got our cash and then it was wait, wait, wait. They only care about money and the rules change daily depending on who you talk to. The so called marina is a joke as there is no ladders to get into your boat and it is about 8 feet from the dock to your boat.the water from the marina is so shallow that you have to use your trolling motor. They took out the kids playgroungs because of liabilatys. The campsites with trees flood during rains and the sites that dont flood have no shade trees.Dont be fooled by the fast talk on the phone and take the drive and see for yourself.

We were in the store when Don A. and his friend came in and completely made fools out of themselves. Overheard Don A. being told that he was advised when he made his reservation that there was no sewer sites left and that the waterslide had broken down Thursday. Plus if Don A. could read he would see the big sign advising that pump outs are done on Tuesdays and Fridays. Also overheard Don A. tell the girl behind the counter that he had to dump his black water holding tank and it filled up again and when his wife was going to throwup she couldn't in the trailer and had to drive to the bathroom. Have never seen anyone that could hold off getting sick for the time it would have taken to drive to the bathroom. There behavior was a total disgrace. The office staff and Sam were totally professional. It was obvious that they were unreasonably upset because they could not get a 2 for 1 deal. After listening to these 2 extremely rude men it was tempting to ask :"just how handicap accessible is a tent". Heard someone say that they had been there before and carried on then also. We have been going to Sturgeon Woods for several years and have never had a bad experience.
