Quality Suites London
Ranked #21 of 41 Hotels in London

Booked a king suite, as we had our dog with us and like to have the space to spread out. Plus, the price was attractive, at just $90 for the night. Check-in was flat. Arrived to find out that the dog was an extra $25 per night, though the booking process did not tell us so (through Quality Inn site). Had to sign a long waiver, too. Funny, other hotels from the same parent company don't charge extra and don't require the waiver.

Staff in general - hallways, breakfast room, front desk - were flat and unfriendly.

At any rate, got to our "suite" and found it was indeed a suite, but very small. Full dining table (odd), small sofa and TV area, microwave/fridge sink, and a bathroom and small bedroom.

The furniture is dated and scuffed, in late 80's gray. Carpet worn out and stained - hope they don't blame us and our dog for that, because it was definitely already there. Bathroom worn out, though spacious. Mattress saggy and worn, and wholly uncomfortable. As for the closet/dressing area between bedroom and bathroom, it was completely worn out - scuffed and scratched and dirty. In all areas, dirt was evident - splats on the wall, or in the grout, or along the baseboards. Just a tired tired property.

The hotel is very large, and very quiet in terms of outside noise. Hallway noise, unfortunately, travels into rooms easily. The halls are nice and updated, but dark.

Free continental breakfast as to be expected in this price range -- bagels, cereal, weak coffee. Would be nice to see fresh fruit available at least. The breakfast room is at least a good size, and taking food back to your room is an option.

"Room service" is available through a nearby restaurant, essentially just as take out/delivery. In room coffee and tea are available but mediocre at best.

Overall, within this price range, no major flaws...but definitely a property in need of TLC and decorating updates. Even at this price, I'd expect a little more pride to be taken in the product.

Previously, this hotel ranked among the best values in London. My last stay was not positive. The room was not up to standard, the family in the next room was noisy and the overall service was disappointing. With the number of newer hotels in the area, this property will have to pick up the pace.

From the first step into the Lobby on Sunday to the last step out the door on the next Sunday, we were treated like a King and Queen. We have traveled extensively in North America and in Europe and we put this one in the good section of our travel memory book. The breakfast was a true continental breakfast of cereals, fruit, pastries and beverages. The coffee was kept filled and I appreciated that it was not a big pot sitting on a burner for a long time but was kept fresh by refilling often. It was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable.
We would love to go back for another week. The staff was wonderful and helpful. This one is a winner!

The location of the hotel is a little bit out of paths. And when you get there and the lady at the reception it advises you to take care since there are a lot of burglaries it doesn’t help to give you confidence. Also the continental breakfast is a joke. I didn’t believe what I saw. A small coffee and a muffin (and not a good one) was all you can get. These 2 items were distributed by a lady who was acting like she was paying them from her own salary. The room was nice and spacey, but we found a spider and were afraid that was not the only one. So overall a creepy experience and I will not recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel because of the recommendations on trip advisor . I was not disappointed ,they were fully booked for my 1st night but the other 3 nights I stayed worked out great. It was a really nice treat to be able to use the internet and watch TV from the living room instead of the bedroom.
The staff were great really helpful, the location was perfect
OK if I was to be picky the towels could be bigger, the suites are very clean but looking a little tied .
I would return and recommend to everyone

The motel is very well run and well located. The rooms, even the discounted ones, are laid out in an attractive manner with separate, enclosed sleeping areas. Staff is friendly and efficient.

We have stayed at a number of hotels in this area, since we have family here. I think this is our fav. so far. Our adult sons liked the free internet, we enjoyed having enough space for 4 adults, without having to pay for 2 rooms. Our sons arrived the day after we did, and had to check in while we were out, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate this .
