I love going on tours to see everyday things being made, and the tour of this brewery did not disappoint. You got to see all aspects of how the beer is bottled, from creating the mixtures of hops and malt, to storage, to bottle cleaning and refilling. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable.
You also got to sample five beers which you drank in a lounge while the tour guide explained the history of each one and even showed the proper way of pouring. On that day we sampled Labatt Blue, Stella Artois and Alexander Keiths India Pale Ale which I loved. But the other two were Bud and Bud light which I didn't care for. In the cooler behind the bar we saw some bottles of a Belgian beer called Leffe. Why couldn't we have tried a sample of that instead of the Buds!?
Still, it's a great tour and well worthwhile. Just drink more Alexanders and Stella a spare the Bud Light.
