“An intimate venue for theatre”
Reviewed 18 December 2011

As with any theatre, they have run some shows that are winners and some that are, well, not so good. But this threatre consistently has at least one show stoppper eah year, and the high school program they offer is excellent.

“high-quality theatre”
Reviewed 14 December 2011

We've seen dozens of shows here over the years and all of them very good to excellent. The theatre itself is attractive and small enough that there are no bad seats. Downstairs they produce regional and smaller-scale productions.

“Always a Grand Experience”
Reviewed 8 December 2011

We always enjoy the Grand Theatre. We saw Shirley Valentine last year and this year we are looking forward to Ed's Garage.

“A bit dated but it will do”
Reviewed 22 November 2011

If you go to the theatre to see the play or musical or whatever, not to be enticed by the grandeur, then you are in for a treat. If you go to the theatre to be excited about the theatre, then you will no be happy since its a bit dated, there's really no place to hang out while you wait for your show, the bathrooms have a winding shape that has no elbow room, the seats in the lower theatre are folding chairs and on a riser. It has that community theatre feel rather than something more grand.
