“Enjoyable Evening”

Our stay at the Woodfield was very enjoyable. The house is beautiful and our room was very clean and cozy. Anna the hostess is very nice and personable and we had an opportunity to chat and get to know her a little, however we did not meet Damien the chef. He was in the kitchen preparing a very delicious breakfast.......superb omlette! The front porch is a wonderful place to sit and relax with a beverage and a book. When we are staying over night in London again we will most definitely be staying at the Woodfield.

We stopped here for one night and wish we'd had more time. Anne was so welcoming and accommodating. The home is very beautiful inside and out. Beautifully maintained and decorated. Our room was the smallest but still lovely and comfortable. Anne recommended a place for dinner that was delicious. We had to leave early in the morning to drive to Detroit to fly home and Anne was willing to get up early and serve us a delicious breakfast at 6:30am - much more than we expected. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Who would have thought that a B&B would be a highlight of our travels through Southern Ontario! Anne has a beautiful, pristinely kept old house where every detail is attended to. Will be back! One of the best travelling experiences we've had in years.

Anne & Damian,
Thank you for a most delightful stay at your exceptional bed and breakfast. I want you to know your home and hospitality now rank in my top five list of the many B&B's and five star hotels my husband and I have been fortunate to stay in. You share a spot with two other B&B's, one in Ireland and another in Newfoundland, and two five star hotels, one in Scottsdale, AZ and the other in Las Cabos, Mexico. The facilities offered by each property differ greatly; however, each of my "top five" properties share a common element. They are all operated by hosts who go out of their way to "think of everything" in order to ensure their guests have a most memorable stay. Will definitely recommend you! Sincere thanks, Shirley

We have stayed in many B&Bs in many cities and this was definitely one of the best ever. We had the largest room with the king size bed and huge bathroom with the whirlpool tub. Both rooms were extremely clean and well appointed. I have never seen a bathroom stocked with more plush towels, not to mention a large supply of candles, makeup removal tissues, cotton swabs, numerous bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotions, body wash, etc. This is the first time I have ever had a room supplied with three boxes of kleenex (one on each side of the bed plus one in the bathroom). Our bedroom was also stocked with candles and bottles of both natural and carbonated water. We appreciated the communal mini-fridge with its free drinks and snacks, and took advantage of the large front porch, enjoying a bottle of wine on the comfortable furnishings surrounded by the lovely gardens. Our daughter and her husband stayed in a smaller room that was also very attractive and had its own very large balcony. We thought that the price of both rooms was a great value, especially considering the very generous breakfast that was included. Our hostess, Ann, was also very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: The largest room with the king size bed is worth the extra money.

I've never stayed at a B&B in London as I have friends and family who always offer me a guest room. However, on this last trip I wanted an evening of relaxation and luxury before flying home. Luxury is what I got! This B&B is a beautifully maintained 3-storey heritage home in a quiet historic neighbourhood close to downtown. Ann and Damien are gracious hosts, providing information about the area, and privacy as required. My East Side Balcony Room was huge and gorgeous, and the bed, linens, towels, and amenities were top-notch. I loved the private balcony off the room! No bathtub, but a spacious walk-in shower. Breakfast was delicious. This B&B was perfect and I would recommend it highly to anyone visiting London.
