“Very pleasant stay”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

We had only booked for one night as a stopover but we were really pleased with the hotel location (1 minute from the water) and how comfortable the room was. It was very large with a sofa and coffee table, a desk, a fire (gas) and jacuzzi in addition to a very comfortable bed. There was a view towards the water although, on our visit, weather was grey and wet. The car park was reasonably priced ($5) and was in a lot across the street. We did not actually eat here but saw the 'Sunday buffet' spread that looked and smelled great! Evidently its popular and was easy to see why.

Very tidy and poshly furnished with good facilities. Lovely to have a self catering facility whilst travelling for work. Centrally located, close to public transport including the Go Train and bus routes. A variety of shops and restaurants/cafes along Lake Shore road. An afternoon stroll is recommended along the lake!

Room Tip: Port Credit allows for lively outdoor entertainment, this unfortunately increases noise levels at ni...

A super hotel with old world charm. Rooms were very comfortable, mine even had a gaz fireplace. Very comfortable bed, a soaker tub, a separate shower stall, lots of plush towels to dry off with. The dining room had a diverse continental breakfast as well as a la carte. The dinner menu had a wide variety of choices and all of them mouth watering, difficult to chose. There was a sommelier on hand that was very knowledgeable and chose a delicious wine for our dinner. Not far from airport or downtown TO. Highly recommend it, if for nothing the view was lovely.

Room Tip: All rooms have great views, all depends if you want to look at the water or the big city of TO.

I chose the Waterside Inn off the internet looking for a place near Person Airport but still not too far from Toronto. I must say the Waterside is just perfect. I had no idea the rooms were suits nor that it is located in the little village of Port Credit. A most wonderful place. Right round the corner from the hotel you will find one of the best sea food restaurants, the Snug Harbour, an Indian restaurant, two Irish pubs, numerous family restaurants, a Mongolian grill and many more eateries. Not to remove from the hotel, it has amazing views of Lake Ontario, friendly and very professional staff, a really cool but rarely used bar, great big rooms and its just 20 minutes from both Pearson Airport. I loved it. The Waterside Inn is definitely worth another visit, again and again.

Room Tip: Any room that faces Lake Ontario is a room to get.

Wasn't sure what to expect about this hotel. Reviews seemed mixed, but once checked in, it was worth the trip to Port Credit. The rooms, although a tad tired, are comfortable. They appear to be a one-bedroom apartment turned hotel room, with a separate living room and bedroom. The kitchenette had all the equipment you'd need, including a washer/dryer. There was enough space for two if needed, but not a family spot. If you MUST have a television in the bedroom for sleeping, then this Inn is not for you. The bathroom was too tight for my liking, but short term it was fine. The view was good looking over Lake Ontario. The conference room was comfortable, although the acoustics need some work. The food and beverage services for meetings are quite good. The staff are attentive and caring. Specialty items were available throughout the day, glasses refreshed often, coffee/tea always fresh and hot. The entrance to the hotel could use some work - it's up a hike of uncovered stairs, and not very convenient from the parking lot either. The shower left a bit to be desired too - the shower head seemed a bit clogged, and the curtain was a light fabric that likes to cling to your leg. I also found the room too warm and the A/C didn't seem to do the job - but it was easily rectified by opening the balcony door for fresh air. Ultimately I was pleasant surprised and pleased with the location and services and would definitely stay again if in the area. This Inn would also make a good short-term living rental. With the few minor inconveniences compared with the pleasant surprises, I would have given this 3&3/4 stars if available.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking Lake Ontario - not only a better view, but you're away from Lakeshore...

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Waterfront Inn in Mississauga. I visited Mississauga for the Southside Shuffle Blues and Jazz Festival. The weather was great and I had a waterside view from my balcony. My room was great and equipped with a full service kitchen and a washer/dryer combo. I will be staying here for my 2014 trip to the Southside Shuffle.

Apparently this is my second visit to The Waterside Inn as I don’t remember the first. That is not to say that it isn’t good because it is. I went to celebrate a family members birthday this past weekend and we decided upon lunch.

There were 8 of us total and we got a seat right in the middle of the room. We ordered our meals after ordering our drinks. I ordered the BW Burger and the lemon tart. My wife ordered the cheese steak sandwich and the calamari which I now wish I would have tasted.

The burger was excellent, the side salad was also excellent. The lemon tart was sour just like I wanted and it hit the spot.

Waterside Inn is a little out of my way to visit on a regular basis but I definitely plan on visiting again.
