“Urban lakes, I love you!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Just visited Lake Aquitaine Park in Mississauga, in early spring. There were enough birds chirping to drown the city noise. I saw ducklings, Blue Jays, Red wing Cardinals. There were people of all ages chatting, running, strolling, pushing strollers, riding bikes, on rollerskates, in running shows, in filpflops. The 1.5 km trail runs around the large pond. You can't swim but in the summer, there's a lovely spray pad by large turtles (near washroom facilities). The trail includes six exercice stations overlooking the pond. There's plenty of picnic tables all around so it's the perfect place to bring a take-out. And it's just a few minutes walks from Meadowvale Theatre, which makes it the perfect stop to let kids blow off some steam before asking them to sit down to enjoy a show.

“Neighbourhood Gem”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Wonderful walk around the lake and head south for more trails.

Great job City of Mississauga in providing great green space for the residents.

Love the family gatherings in the summer, music, food and laughter.

“Ok, But Could Be Better”
Reviewed 10 January 2014

I don't live far from this park and I do take my son here. The walk around the lake is good as it is different then always walking down the road. They do need to upgrade the splash pad and playground. It was great when they finally put a bathroom at the playgrund instead having to run almost 10 minutes with a little one to get them to a bathroom. Be wary of some of the people walking thier dogs as they always let them come up to your dog nasty or not as my dog almost got bitten one day. With some upgrades this park could be very nice.
