Upon reading the glowing reviews posted on Trip Advisor, I decided to try this place out. It's process is somewhat similar to other Afghani/Middle eastern venues (i.e, Bamiyan Kabob, Paramount, Kandahar kebab) whereby an order is placed and paid for, a receipt with a collection number is provided and then you are called upon once your order is ready.
I ordered a Beef Tikka wrap and was asked what heat level I desired. The options are Mild, Medium and Hot. After specifying my preference, I was told it would take approximately 15 mins. After 25 mins or so, I was told there had been a discrepancy with my order and that it would take additional time. The waitress/server apologized and she was the one who had initially taken my order. So, eventually my food arrived albeit it 35 mins from placing my initial order and my initial take was that I'm never returning. However, the waitress/server apologized again explaining in detail why the discrepancy had occurred and offered a complimentary dessert and drink. Usually, smaller places will offer you an apology which isn't meaningful and do not offer any complimentary menu options. I was so impressed by the level of service received in order to compensate me for this issue, I thought to write a review. Oh yes and of course, my wrap was flavorsome and a definitely good in size. Very fulfilling for the 6 bucks that I'd paid (including HST). Food is freshly prepared and would definitely recommend this place. In some respects it reminds me of Bamiyan Kebob which is located nearby.
Basically any choice of chicken, Beef, Lamb or fish served with rice, salad, naan bread
Salad & Naan
As the title suggests, the same as the Dinner menu excluding the Naan. It's pretty convenient for lunch as I certainly wouldn't want both the naan and rice for lunch.
These are cheaper priced items, but certainly pack a punch in terms of flavor and quality.
