We booked this hotel through Hotwire and got an excellent rate for late June. They do charge $10 extra for parking per day. Our room was large with 2 double beds, but certainly needed updating. Our friends had the same size room with a newer sofa, larger refrigerator and microwave. We had breakfast twice at the adjoining restaurant and it was very good. Close to the falls, but keep in mind quite an uphill walk coming back. Lots of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. For the price we were satisfied.

Upon entering the hotel there was a smell like you entering a dirty veterinary hospital. It was hot and humid in the halls and very dark. Once in the room, first thing we noticed was the wallpaper was peeling and the carpet was dirty. The beds were not made properly and there was a big stain on the couch which looked disgusting. The lamp shade had two cigarette burn marks on it. The pool looked dingey and the restaurant was next to the pool so it smelled like the pool. We were trying to find another hotel but to no avail. When we checked out, we told the person at the front desk about our findings. She had absolutely nothing to say about it and didn't seem too bothered about it. "Stay Away"

Nothing great about this hotel. Location is very good. Very close walking distance to the falls and Clifton hill. The bed smelled of urine& the a/c didn't work. You get what you pay for. I spent very little time in the room, so it didn't matter the quality of hotel. My actual birthday I spent in a better hotel. I have mixed feelings about staying here again.

Had a great stay, the staff were friendly and efficient, clean room and wonderful view.I would recommend this hotel for families that want a hotel close to Clifton hill, walking is no more than 5-10 minutes, plenty of restaurant choices. The only downfall is when going in early May you don't get to enjoy the fireworks on Friday evenings.

Very nice indoor pool & hot tub. Convenient location close to the Falls and attractions. Rooms are clean and efficient. Lobby staff were unavailable most of the time. No lobby staff available to check out. Disappointed about being charged extra for parking as a hotel guest.

First off, this was a last minute booking as our trip plans changed last minute, so we weren't really sure what to expect. The price was right (well under $100), which worked well considering the quick change of plans. Upon arrival, the check-in staff was not overly friendly or welcoming, but we tried not to let that deter us from enjoying our experience. We quickly took the elevators up to our room. The room had enough space for two people - double bed, small sitting area and a bathroom area with a fridge, microwave and safe. The decor was quite dated, but clean. The problems arose at night, the walls are paper thin, we could hear everything going on in the room beside us (which included a very loud baby). I was quite happy I brought ear plugs.
Overall, a good place to sleep, walking distance to all the big sites in Niagara Falls.
