What a wonderful hotel and what a spectacular view! If you want a falls view, make sure you book a room with a view. It would be such a shame if your room is located on the backside of the hotel.
We came by car and there was a parking garage next to the hotel. Parking fee was $20, which was quite reasonable.
It's easy to walk to the Falls and downtown. (Clifton Hill)
We thought the elevator was quite a pain. It took forever to get to your floor.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with a Falls view and try to get a room on a higher floor.

First impressions- not greeted pulling up/valet nowhere to be found. Important because we travel with toddlers and is helpful especially with luggage etc. Staff was professional but not overly friendly or helpful at check in. I like Marriott vacation properties and most Marriott hotels but not this one.
Room service was ordered twice and not good. Brie and crackers was pathetic, handful of crackers with a small sliver of brie, no presentation... other food food was blah. Milestones restaurant is just OK, my food was good, but service was bad. I ordered Chefs cut prime rib and the chef must love fat and heavy marbling because it was small portion with tons of fat. Tasted great minus fat and the horseradish sauce was awesome, sides just ok. kids meals were blah, wife's fish was blah.
The pool is small, dirty, over chlorinated, outdated and not impressive at all. Same with hot tub. Towels at pool and in room were thin & rough.
Room- No robes, bed frames were busted, carpet marginal, not very clean, updated yet outdated, dirty bathroom, small fridge that didn't work well, furniture was average/standard and somewhat beat up.
The view of the Falls (stayed top floor) was absolutely amazing and almost negated the disappointment of trusting a four star rating. Lobby, bar area and main staircase are very nice and decorated well. Elevators dirty and beat up. Location is just ok, safe area and very close to Falls. Wouldn't go back. Disappointing as I like Marriott and have had many great stays in their other hotels and vacation properties. I must be cheap, my pet peeve is paying for parking $25 daily for valet.

Room Tip: Go elsewhere?... If not make certain a Falls side room and high floor.

We purchased the living social thinking of eloping. The total package was $250 and was suppose to include gift passes and wine tour. We ended up getting married on April fools day and using this as our honeymoon.
Check in was easy but the clerk was rude since we did NOT print our voucher. I was told on the phone I could upgrade upon arriving to a king bed and whirlpool for free if that was available. Upon checking in the rude clerk wanted $30 per night extra, but gave one night for free since it was the honeymoon.
The room was nice. 17th floor. The wall paper behind the curtain was peeling. The whirlpool tub appeared old and well used. Overall nice room but sadly they were cleaning windows this week outside and we had ropes dangling outside.
The dinner coupons they provided were all expensive places.
The wine tour was a self guided self taken tour all they really did was pre pay the wine tasting fee which is only 5 or 7 unless you purchase a bottle then its free anyway.
Breakfast was decent food for buffet. Cook to order eggs. But the receipt had $46 avg for breakfast seemed inflated.
Overall GOOD deal and still worth the trip. Nice view even though the hotel in on the back side of the falls.

If you can get a falls view in this hotel, that is worth the value. Don't expect the rooms to impress you as they are quite dated. The lobby area and mezzanine are nice, and the Milestones/Starbucks inside is convenient.

Great view, great restaurant, great beds, Great tub, Only struggle we had was a Dance convention made the lobby extra full, But I could see how it was convenient for 100 of little guys running around and pushing all the elevator buttons. We had our teen age daughter and or 11 year old Grandaughter not involved in the recital. It made it a real challenge to catch the elevator

Room Tip: 2401 had a awesome view, but understand most the rooms on the hotel are
