Needless to say Niagara Falls is an extremely expensive town even for someone from the NYC, however, Sheraton and other big hotels take this extreme to a "higher extreme": I've splurged on a package in the Executive Fallsview Suite on a 31st floor, which included 2 breakfast buffets and one dinner in the Milestone Grill, otherwise i'd have to pay $30.00 per person for breakfast down there or go to IHop and pay $25.00!!!!; paying for parking ($20 a day if you park yourself and $25.00 if a valley does it for you), the sporadic internet you have to pay for; I find this minutae charges (wringing money out folks) to be ridiculous. The room was clean, but the bed springs made awful noise every time we turned and we are not heavy people, the bathroom was probably bigger then my bedroom at home, but there were no bathrobes nor bath salts/bubbles which at $400.00 per day should have been an expected addition to the amazing jet pool. The view was absolutely, unbelievably gorgeous, but that's not Sheraton's creation and having a big comfortable chair or two to go along with the view would, once again have been a nice touch at $400.00 per night, instead there was a rickety cheep wooden school-teacher chair and a computer chair, and last, but not least there is no microwave in a suite! (they rent them @$50.00 per day - what an unbelievable outrage)
Overall, the hotel, although well kept and possesses great helpful staff, is not worth spending that much on, unless like me, you really want to hear a "wow" from your partner when he/she opens up the curtains.
I am only recommending this hotel to those who are willing to spend good money for a view, dont need to be on line 24/7 and are willing to lick your plates clean every time you have a great meal, if you are on a budget, you should go with a B&B or a City view rooms

The hotel really is very nicely appointed and if it were not for the poor air conditioning system on the higher floors and the hallways I would have rated the hotel very high grades. From what I have learned this hotel was built in 2 sections and the second section (higher floors) were built poorly. Our room took forever to cool off (at night) and during the day was barely comfortable. The hallways were baking, (at least 90 degrees during the day) The poor chamber maids were broiling as they made their way from room to room. I reported the problem and of course if could never be fixed as from what I have learned there is a design flaw or some shoddy work went into the design and construction of the ventilation system.
In additon the elevators definitely needed some serious oiling.

This is a great hotel- it's a short walk from the casinos and madness of Clifton Hill. Amazing view of the falls and glittery Niagara lights. Had a lovely room with floor to ceiling windows, fireplace and whirlpool on the 28th floor. Amazing!

We stayed here two nites in May 2010. We had the top floor room facing the falls with floor to ceiling windows view of the falls!
The room was nice.
My only complaint was that there should be a seperate elevator for top 20 floors because waiting for an elevator was sometimes...well a wait!
You can't beat the view so you don't even need a tv in the room!.

Superb and luxurious room, with a whirlpool and stunning view overlooking the Canadian falls. Spotlessly clean room and such a huge bed.. Downstairs a swimming pool to relax after a busy day looking at the sights and a sauna to detox the body, making one feel complete again.

The breakfast menu was fabulous, there was everything you could wish for; the fruit was sweet and freshly picked and tasted wonderful. The staff were helpful, charming and professional who made one feel very welcome. And the Sheraton Falls View Hotel was located in a wonderful central position, overlooking the falls and close to near by restaurants and other parts of Niagara town.

I would recommend this lovely hotel to everyone and I will certainly stay there again.

If you're room is facing the falls then the view is beautiful. You're able to see the river leading up to the falls. A view of just the falls is abit boring in my opinion as you can just see that when you're at the falls. The hotel has good service. Parking is a bit on the expensive side. Very convenient if you plan to visit Fallsview Casino. Good restaurants close by. Skip the Outback Steakhouse, terrible food at this location!

We enjoyed this hotel and loved the stunning view of the Horseshoe and American Falls from our 22nd floor room. The staff was all very friendly, especially the restaurant employees (the package we booked included breakfast and dinner vouchers, and while it seemed like the hotel was practically empty due to the off-season, everyone was very solicitous and helpful.

If you use their parking lot, you have to pay -- I think it was CA$20 or slightly more per night...felt like a ripoff, as the hotel wasn't very full, the parking lot gate was up all the time, and it was outdoor parking without a visible security guard or anything to justify the cost (other than apparent high-season parking scarcity.) We'd have parked down by the casino, which was much cheaper, and walked, except that it was November and a little cold for walks with bags and such.
