We have been staying at this same motel for over ten years and are always pleased with our accomadations. You can not beat the price for what you get. The renovations are just fantastic. You feel like you are staying at a 4 star hotel. We like the convenience of being so close to the casino and we love Perkins restaurant. They always go out of their way to accomadate us.

The good: the location is fantastic if you will be utilizing the waterpark. The staff is very nice, very helpful. I didn't care for the public square tyoe setup where the rooms in each section each have a common courtyard type area, but I think a lot of people would.

The bad: sound insualtion is poor. Kids were playing in the courtyard area, and on the staircase near our room. We just couldn't sleep with all the noise. The bathroom was cramped and not modern. The rooms were dated, small and had only one very small window.

The ugly: The Perkins restaurant was expensive($13.99 for two egg breakfast), took forever (45 minutes after ordering), and the food was lousy.

My family and I stayed at the Skyline for two nights for the Family Day Weekend. We really enjoyed the Waterpark and the rooms were clean. The bathroom is quite small. A plus is the Perkins Restaurant adjoining the hotel and the close proximity to the casino. Parking was a nightmare (very small parking spaces - not much room to maneouvre and not a lot of parking spaces either for the size of the hotel). It is nice that they play a movie in the evening for the children.

However, during the second night of our stay (we were moved to another room), I was up most of the night because the heater was making so much noise. At 8:00 a.m. the next morning my whole family was quite abruptly woken up by the sound of VERY LOUD drilling on the outside of the hotel right outside our room. The windows were covered in plastic so we had absolutely no view of the "outside world". To their credit the front desk did deal with the noise problem (though it took about 20 minutes for the drilling to stop and my husband had to phone down a second time). After my husband complained we were given a discount on our room.

I feel that the hotel should have been obligated to let their potential customers know that part of the hotel was under renovation/construction.

It was an excellent experience because:
1. The rooms were outstanding. A very clean environment that maintained a "cozy" atmosphere.
2. The layout of hotel was great as it seems very community oriented. Tourists, guests alike share the courtyards within the hotel like a community. As a community worker, there is nothing better than to see people of different cultures associate with others.
3. The staff were all very polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. Each staff member was able to help us with one thing or another, from finding bus times and schedules, to making reservations at restaurants, and everything in between.

Overall, the staff were professional, the hotel was very well maintained and all accommodation's were exceptional.

Thank you very much Skyline Inn, Niagara Falls Ontario!

Staff at the Skyline were very accomodating. I felt it was important to them that our stay was a pleasurable experience. It was very affordable too. Having a fridge in each room was a nice feature to have at no extra charge. Individual room thermostats were also a plus. It was a nice, safe, fun atmosphere for our family.

Very pleased with the early check in and late check out as I had come down with a flu while i was there and the Skyline let me stay to 1:30 p.m. with no surcharge added to my room.

It was greatly appreciated and I've stayed there twice now and would highly recommend any one with children this be the place to go.

My family decided to take a mini vacation and head to the falls. We wanted to visit the new falls view waterpark. We booked a room in the Skyline Inn. I must say that it does not look like much but offers much more than meets the eye. In each section of rooms there is an indoor courtyard, which serves as an alternate space to hang out in aside from the room. this turned out to be my salvation, as the kids get ansy after only a very short time being cooped up in a hotel room. The courtyard allowed them to meet other kids in the hotel. They were able to stay down there, in view of all parents, yet far enough away from the rooms that the noise levels were not bothersome at all. At night, the hotel puts on a family movie for all.The kids could bring pillows and blankets into the courtyard for extra comfort. The kids ( and myself ) felt like we were camping out!! The kids made me promise that when we return to the falls, we stay at the Skyline - they really loved that courtyard !!!

Overall, the hotel was very family oriented and was a pleasure to stay at.
