“Great!!!”
Reviewed 16 June 2014 via mobile

Love the rooms, hospitality, and THE VIEW in the diner! I booked a year prior during off peak for this summer, so it was quite the value. That's the key to getting your money's worth here. They create pretty good package deals if you call them during their off season to book for peak season, and pay in advance.

Bought groupon for stay at Sheraton on the Falls without Fallsview. Upon arrival requested Fallsview room staff member at registration was more than helpful and cost for upgrade was minimal. We also were allowed to check in early even with the change in rooms. Do not stay here without view of the falls unless you like looking out and seeing parking lots and HVAC equipment. Based on location of other resorts Sheraton appears to be only one with unobstructive view of both falls. Highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting Niagara falls. We parked our car in parking garage and did use it while there, everything is within walking distance. Don't like walking public transportation passes provided and pick up/drop off at front door. If going to Niagara Falls stay at the Sheraton on the Falls.

The hotel was wonderful we had a 12th floor fallsview room. The reason i said that they should have adult only floor is that the toilet is very close to the ground for children and when your old its hard to get up, and the last night we were there we had babies next to us and they cried half the night and kept my husband up. Other than that it was a wonder vacation everyone shoud go to Niagara Falls at least once in a lifetime this was a bucket list place on my list now I can mark it off.

We didn't have a falls view room but it was still great. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean with crispy white linen! Large bathroom and robes provided. I hope we can stay here again.

I’m writing this and fully expect it to be removed as they don’ seem to like any negative feedback, this was made apparent during my recent stay (8th – 11th June) at the Sheraton on the falls, its was one of those trips where you just knew from the second we checked in that it wasn't going to be our best stay at the falls.
When booking the trip we advised that there was going to be 2 adults and 3 children, now that equates to 5 in my books, however at reception we were informed that it only equated to 4 as my 2 yr old son didn't count and that the room we had only contained 2 queen size beds, we again stated that we had 5 in the party, again we were told that 2 queens would be ample, we asked about a fold down bed, oh no, can’t do that, there isn't room ? We asked why this wasn't explained during the booking? Answer, we didn't book via them (However I later found out that the hotels website books in the exact same manner and it wouldn't have made any difference where we booked).
We were advised then that they would try and do something for us, wait for it!!! Come back tomorrow and we will try and fix it out, So we ended up having to ask another relative staying at the hotel if she minded bunking up with one of my kids, a fix, but not one we classed as acceptable.
On the 2nd day they did indeed manage to cram a fold down bed in to the already tight room, didn't even bother to add pillows, let’s just take them from the other beds, great. Felt the staff were in general pleasant enough, however it seemed forced at times and not as natural as I've experienced on previous visits. The room had a great view (796 I think), what looked like a central heating / air con machine, not the quietest either, again, I mentioned this to staff and was told it wasn't generally loud (I later found that the lady next door complained and was promptly upgraded to a nicer suite (Perhaps I give up too early and don’t put up a good fight).
This was just going to be one of those trips, we had been to the hotel on a couple of occasions over the past 10 years and always raved about it to friends and family, but this time it just seemed so different, few minor points.
Bath was chipped and didn't look cleaned correctly, no extra pillows in the room, power socket in the bathroom didn't work, TV remote worked when it wanted (Caused us to buy a film that we didn't want or need), coffee machine took forever and meant you having to switch it on 4 times for one cup, on the last day I had my room door knocked 3 times over 2 ½ hrs. asking when we were checking out, they were told 12pm, the normal check out time (Normally this wouldn't have been a problem, but my youngest son was asleep due to being unwell, kept waking him up).
All in all this was not the service I expected from a hotel that was normally so good over the years, I have since seen other bad reviews and can only assume that the service levels have slipped, I hope that this is something that is rectified soon, I will in future use the Hilton or other major brand hotels on future trips to the falls.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a room with a view, we ended up looking at a Air vent !

Loved this hotel, the staff at check in were very helpful. We wanted to upgrade to a Fallsview room and although we could not do this on the day we checked in, we were able to change rooms the next day. Our new room was absolutely amazing - such a good view of the American falls, and some of the Horseshoe falls. Room was very large, with sofa, coffee table and armchair/footstool, so lovely to relax in. Plus there was a juliette balcony. Would have liked a king bed rather than the 2 queen beds, but I think they only have them in the dearer rooms. There was also a TV in the bathroom! It was an amazing location to watch the fireworks from, they are launched quite close to the hotel so there is a very good view. We were very impressed with the outdoor pool - we have stayed in The Falls before, but not had a hotel with this facility. So good to have somewhere to relax outside and cool off.
The hotel is just opposite the Rainbow Bridge, so handy if you want to visit the USA. Generally we did not like some of the area where the hotel is, as it is just round the corner from lively Clifton Hill, but it is easy to find quieter areas. Would recommend The Guru restaurant on Victoria Avenue if you like Indian food and The Mandarin Chinese buffet at St Catharine's and Niagara Falls. Also breakfast is great at the casino next door to the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a Falls view room, worth the extra cost!

Was a at conference here.... really good spot to hold one. Staff were fantastic, food at the conference was amazing (really!), good array of speakers rooms... etc.

Hotel rooms were very good... probably one of the few where you do want to pay extra for the view because both Canadian and American falls are an awesome sight. Rooms were a good size, beds were very comfortable and pillows were excellent.

Overall a good place for business or vacation.

Room Tip: Good for ones with the falls views
