This was our second trip to this hotel, and once again, the hotel didn't let us down. Or reservation was accurate, and we were offered an upgrade to a top floor Jr. Presidential Suite, which included a fireplace, big jacuzzi, very spacious room and great view of the city.

We opted in for a package which included a $40 onsite Keg Credit or $35 TGI Fridays credit, as well as a buffet breakfast each night. The cost was $169 for the Friday night and $219 for the Saturday night - the only additional cost we incurred was parking for $11/day.

We often go to Niagara Falls, and have found that this hotel offers pretty decent value for your dollar - especially for it's location being only a two minute walk to the prime of Clifton Hill. The staff is great, and any issues are taken care of in a very timely manner.

After reading the reviews, one consideration to offer folks is that since this is a prime location, you will be faced with a mix of hotel goers - meaning that you can have families, couples, sports teams, and even the young partiers staying at the hotel. On our last trip, we had a rowdy bunch a couple doors down from us who were stilling partying at 1am. After a call to the front desk, the night manager came up and took control of the issue very quickly.

Would stay again.

We have stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Niagara Falls many times and this time did not disappoint. We stayed for the 2 night package and it was perfect. This hotel is central to most attractions in the falls. The upgrades that they have made were a pleasant surprise. We will definitely go back again

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night over the Easter weekend and we were not dissapointed. The hotel is an easy 15/20 minute walk to the falls, check-in and check-out was prompt and we were provided with wifi codes for free. Parking is 11 CAD a night which we made use of, however it is possible to park further down the road close to the skylon tower for 5CAD. The hotel is also close to bars and restaurants. We would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time Easter weekend. The only negative comment I have is the check in process was a little long and irritating. There was a line up for the check in and there were only two people behind the desk. This made for a long check in but as I said, other than that, I have no complaints. The package they give you makes you wonder how they can make any money. For $119.00 per night, upon check in they give you a bottle of wine and two wine glasses, per night. They also give you $80 in Keg coupons, plus free breakfast at The Keg each morning. In addition to that, you get coupons for Niagara On the Lake wine and beer tastings. It's a very clean, well kept hotel and the location is perfect. A short 3 minute walk and you're on Clifton Hill. I would definitley recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel at a reasonable rate.

Overall, the rooms are standard fare for Courtyard, but too many little things wrong, such as:
1. Wine included in my package was not provided at check-in or in the room; had to ask for it
2. Only white wine was provided even though 50% or more of wine drinkers are red now a days - was like talking to the wall when trying to explain how terrible this was not to offer a choice.
3. T.V. reception is bad on many channels and no HD signals
4. Breakfast hours not extended on a holiday Friday which are 1 hour later on weekends
5. Very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone at main number from outside or even in house
6. Only plastic / disposable drinking vessels ... how cheap.

The Keg restaurant off the lobby was excellent.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriot for my son's youth basketball tournament this past weekend and have lots of great things to say and one negative. The lobby is very inviting and well maintained. The front staff were great and got us checked in with no problems at all. In fact all of our encounters with the various staff members were very positive and we have nothing but great things to say about them. Public bathrooms were well maintained and the room was spotless, including the jacuzzi tub we had in the room but didn't get a chance to use.

Location is a big selling point at this site as well. There is a large number of food choices within walking distance including The Keg which is part of the restaurant, TGIFridays (in the same parking lot), Hooters and our personal favorite Almacs for breakfast. It's only a 5 minute walk to the “strip” where you have tons of food and entertainment choices as well. It's also within minutes of the QEW so very easy to get to and tons of parking although you may have a bit of a walk at night as it does get very busy. We had a group discount so reasonably priced that way but looking at the website the rates are on the high side.

Only complaint was the pool area. Yes, there are “slippery when wet” signs prominently displayed but the ramp to the pool basically becomes a slide when wet. Pool area and towels are well maintained but when we stayed there was an issue with the chlorine levels on the Saturday night. We could smell it but didn't think twice. After 20 minutes in the pool both my son and I had trouble breathing. We returned to the room and showered but still had a strong chlorine smell on us. The next morning my son developed a rash on his arms and back. He had worn his new black underwear in the pool and after washing them when we returned home only to have them turn purple. Not sure if this is a regular thing but might be something to watch out for...

Room Tip: Get the jacuzzi tub... room size is bigger and layout is more convenient for families than the stand...

The location of the hotel is simply excellent. A short walk to Clifton Hill and the Falls. The hotel itself is the typical Marriott Courtyard. Service was great. We asked to have our room changed, and we were quickly and happily provided with a different room with a better view. The bed was very comfortable. The fact that the hotel lobby has an entrance to the Keg Steakhouse and Bar is a bonus, especially at night when having a late dinner, or simply a night cap. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay again when in Niagara Falls.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the higher floors for a better view.
