Ok...my main reason for booking this hotel is because people said it was not in the hustle/bustle of 'The Falls' traffic (people/cars). Well, there where correct, however, I didn't think it was that far from the main attactions (Clifton Hills). When we got to the Canadian side, it was late, and we just wanted to find the hotel, shower, and lay down. That was a scavenger hunt in itself....we had to stop at another hotel to ask directions, as it was so far from the beaten path, we thought we were lost :0(

When we finally got to the hotel, it was bout 1:30am, it was snowing and we were just tired! When we got to the room, it was nice and clean and what was expected. I don't have any negative reviews from the hotel. We only ate breakfast one time while there, and it was what was expected also. I had a waffle (only took 2 min to cook, I need one of those waffle makers), and bacon. The person with me made a breakfast sandwich, and grabbed two bananas.

The beds were nice and comfy, the housekeeping staff didn't pester you, and gave you ample time to get up and out of your room before knocking on the door asking to clean. We had to leave early for our flight (before breakfast), and the front desk clerk was nice enough to make a 'to go' breakfast bag (muffin, apple, bottle of water) for us. If the hotel was closer, then I would give this a full five stars, as the parking was free, and the free breakfast which you know most hotels don't do, especially in the tourist areas.

Just a short scenic drive or walk from the Falls. The property is always very clean and they offer and STAND BEHIND a 100% guarantee if not satisfied. I won't stay anywhere else when on the road if I can help it. I love and trust the Hilton Brand!.

I was pleased to be booked at this Hampton Inn as I've always had good experiences with their properties. This Hampton Inn was no exception. The front desk people were helpful and always had a smile. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated and I love their bedding! It would be nice to have a fridge but I'm willing to give that up to have a good bed.

This hotel is a stone's throw from the Whirlpool bridge to the US as well as the VIA/GO station. I don't think that there are any restaurants within an easy walk, so that may be a consideration for some. The area is very quiet and is not right in the main tourist area which is a plus for me.

The breakfast was better than some as it had pre-made omelettes, sausages, potatoes, waffles, and the usual cold breakfast fare and fresh fruit salad!

I'd happily stay at this Hampton Inn again.

we got a great deal through wagjag for 2 nights. we liked the hotel so much we decided to stay an extra night. front desk was nice enough to upgrade us from 2 queen beds to 1 king room with heart shaped jacuzzi tub, pull out couch and fireplace. a very nice clean room that was actually quite spacious. the hotel includes a free breakfast that includes some hot items, eggs, home fries, waffles plus the usual suspects of bagels, toast, oatmeal, juice etc. there is free coffee and tea available all day in the breakfast room. plus a microwave in there for guest use. the breakfast room is open all day if you want somewhere to sit and work or relax. there is also a hot tub, indoor pool, fitness room and free parking. river road is less than 5 minuted from the strip but nice and quiet. staff is very accommodating and helpful. much rather pay for this budget hotel than double the price for something closer to the falls where parking is extra and there is no breakfast!

Room Tip: we were in 501 which was close to the elevator. no one behind or beside us. only across the hall. ve...

Good place to crash if you don't have to be right next to the falls. The rooms were better than many I've seen in budget motels in tourist traps LOL The included breakfast bar was a big perk, and actually offered some hot food (pre-prepared eggs and belgian (sp?) waffles that you pour into the griddle) in addition to cold cereal, yogurt and pastries. If you aren't expecting more than clean, safe & resonable place to sleep, this is a great choice.
